with 3 minions on the board: (ignoring actuall stats of these minions)
SR does 8 dmg for 3 mana
Bloodlust does 9 dmg for 5 mana
I tried to look for equal card & mana usage and came up with:
2x SR does 16 dmg for 6 mana (3 minions)
1x BL + 1x rockbiter does 12 dmg for 6 mana (3minions)
so druid has 4 more damage which is increased by +1 dmg each more minion besides those 3 minions. SO personally I would say remove the hero's ATK-DMG part of SR to equal it out.
That is what I am talking about few pages back. I guess should increase savage roar to cost 4 too.

Do druids have Hex? Because i'd recall they have Mulch, which sucks badly and has the same mana cost.
That's just how useful it is to compare class cards.
Nope; I will Hex a druids darnasus to give him free ramp up; cause they dont have enough ramp up already.....Or I can remove it with another spell so I can put up taunts afterwards ....or will I be overloaded next turn then????.....
Please don't try to diss my honest calculations in similar usage cards..instead of comparing class specific weaknesses & strenghts.......druids got ramp etc etc etc.....shamans have better spell removal etc etc....
Druid is a strong class and I think that a little nerf is necessary because he doens't need THE COMBO to win all the games. Now druid, with LoE, can aspire to create new decklists: I tried the way of gigantic drops and I see that the moment for this deck is arriving! :)
So you're saying that SR is comparable with Bloodlust+Rockbiter, because the latter does less damage for the same mana cost, but i can't compare Hex with Mulch because yeah we all know that shaman has got better removals? And what was that random argument about hexing an aspirant? So you would give both classes the same combo burst, but leave druid with shitty removals. Oh but you would still leave innervate and wild growth, how kind of you.
Not the same combo burst; druids SR will still be stronger if you would read it correctly. And really Druid might have shit removal but not as shit as everyone is claiming it to be...every is just playing way to much around this combo (cause its strong) leaving no place for control or combo spell removal. Not sure what druid players want really...you cant have both extremes.
Guys it is obvious that druid cant win without this combo just let it be like that, but it would be interesting if we see a nerf, i think we will see more beast and mill druids, that would be awesome.
Yeah, but no. Many people have tried to put together beast druid decks, it is sorely lacking still and won't compete with other decks in the meta. Mill druid is a joke, for lols. Mill Rogue is more of a thing, still wouldn't even call that a competitive deck though.
Fiery war axe is in every warrior deck, removing it wouldn't make warrior more versatile, just much worse. Same with a nerf to a perfectly balanced easily stopped combo.
Sad that this is still a topic. 14 damage out of nowhere! Also the fireball comment was stupid as hell. Yeah fireball doesn't scale with minions, but it is useful on it's own. What is savage roar doing on its own, giving your hero 2 attack? Though go ahead and compain. Sure Savage roar is less balanced than MC, Boom, Fireball, Divine shield bot, etc. Whatever.
what if force of nature's cardtext read : 6 mana ,summon 3 2/4 treants that cant target heroes and die at the end of the turn
then force and roar will be a exellent removal that druid is missing but wont be an OP finisher
You think that 6 mana, 6 damage that is stopped by taunts is "excellent removal"? That would be about the shittiest card in hearthstone. There is no worse removal in the game afaik. FoN without the ability to go face, would obviously never, under any circumstances, be played.
FoN alone is also shit if you dont have Savjz Roar, my point is that you can use Wailing Soul to get a decent board out of it. Sure you can buff it a little but these arent real cards.
Thats why I kind of like the fact blizzard takes so long to nerf something, I think is unbelievable how almost every single class got cry for nerf at some point, based of popularity:
Now it is insane, every f druid playing the same sheet.
I ask you people using that deck, because you are a lot, where is the fun? Waiting for emperor, and then play 2 cards? You know this is still a game and a game is fun if actually you play it in some way using your brain.
So gtfo you and the other people who use (I can't say play) secret paladin.
And please Bilzzard if you can't see there is a problem with those two decks please create a banner that advise opponents we are facing one of these decks so i can resign saving my time for a real match. I guess those people agree as well since the amount of fun for them will be the same (a boring win).

oh really? tell me wheres the fun in face shaman when he ignores my emperor and still go face or with secret paladin where all you do is dumping your hand then topdeck one of the trio dr 6,7,8 and win. every fucking deck needs some sort of thinking but the players in this game are pure idiots who just want a "fun" match and win without thinking and yeah this game excuses them and grants them wins even if they are doing terrible mistakes. i havent seen any other card game as forgiving as this one as long as you have RNG on your side.
and to answer your question i play midrange druid to win and farm gold to get LoE cause thats the only viable that i have left. face shamans are 10000 times worse than face hunters and you make threads about druid gg
I play priest and have held Druids all game maintaining my hp at 25 or above and just one minion that you can't remove will cost you the game due to FoN & 2xSR. A nerf is very justified
Thats why I kind of like the fact blizzard takes so long to nerf something, I think is unbelievable how almost every single class got cry for nerf at some point, based of popularity:
The "problem" is the whole deck gameplay: Druid accelerates, druid plays emperor - nothing my opponent can do. The druid drops in a big minion (taunt, draw , spellpower) My oponent has to trade because its too much threat
I have no board, i ignore his plays hit face even with my hero power, i finish up with an OTK. Alternatively I outvalue him because he had to trade so much into my big and small minions, so the inevitable ping hero power swipe seals up the value game. His AOE kills 1 minion
I actually don't think it's OPd but I think that:
1) It's too good compared to anything else druid has and all good druid decks are forced to run it 2) It feels like a cheap (unskilled) version of Golden times patron.
My problem is really this 2nd point: Why do they nerf patron to the ground ?? It was a deck that on skilled players hands had 60% + winrate. On unskilled players it could easily be 40%. Combo druid (both aggro and midrange) play with this lategame pressing. In that chubby guy (hearthstone director) 's words " it is akward to play against things that arent on the board" So why no nerd this combo?
My rant is because i know the answer to this. Patron was a deck that made unskilled players go like "whoa i could never do that, id never get to legend, id never win a tournament" , so the nerf. Imagine why so many get scared by games like chess or more comparable: Prismata? I understand this game's philosophy to keep high rng to make things fun and simple to attract masses; but the limit has to stay somewhere. Patron -the real patron- should still exists
Lol this is one of those guys that would only play armor and draw cards until he got patron combo and actually think he's skilled, you were never skilled, get that thought out of your head.

Nerf Hearthstone.
By the way this is my new catchphrase.
Thats why I kind of like the fact blizzard takes so long to nerf something, I think is unbelievable how almost every single class got cry for nerf at some point, based of popularity:
-Druid: FoN + SR
-Mage: Goblin Blastmage (mech), Ice block (freeze)
- Hunter: Hero power, kill command, huffer, Savanah Highmane
- Warrior: Shield Block, execute, fiery war axe
-Paladin: Well, I dont even need to remember!
- Warlock: Hero power, Doomguard
- Priest: Mind control (for de 2nd time)
-Rogue: Oil, blade flurry
- Shamman: well, one day you will be competitive, and the day to call you op will come!
Its true, some cars WAS nerfed, but most of this cards was clearly an unnecessary cry for nerf. I hope this madness will stop some day
Without FON + Savage, druid is unplayabble. If they nerf this combo, druid will become the weaker class in game by far.
Ramp Druid, Beast druid, Mill Druid.... All jokes.
Now it is insane, every f druid playing the same sheet.

Savage Roar to 4 mana. Now combo costs 10 mana. And people need two innervates for another roar. Should be a fair change.
It's a nerf to aggro/combo Druids. But ramp Druids should be okay after this change.
FoN is fine, SR isnt. The scaling per minion + the best sticky minions in the game + innervate + ET make it OP
Does anyone else agree?
yes http://www.hearthpwn.com/search?search=savage roar
Sure
