As a midrange druid player, I actually thought about that but for druids I think it won't change that much of the deck because they would be looking for Emperor to reduce the cost of the cards. They relatively ramp up easily so by the time they need the combo they would already be at 10 mana.
I play Druid Combo, but I don't really like playing against decks with OTK capability. I'd like to see them all get nerfed. That being said, Druid's win rate and presence on ladder isn't so high that Savage Roar is actually a problem, and some people like OTK style decks.

What deck do you play most? And I'll tell you some of the combo's or moves you put together every session. Druid's FON/Roar combo is pretty much all it's got going for it over other classes. It makes me laugh when Paladin/Mage/Hunter etc players moan and groan about it. You must not have have the pleasure of being OTK'd at 30 HP + 10 Armor by an Anyfin wave.

Yeah, I play maybe 25% of my games with Druid. I don't think anyone plays Druid much more than that. I don't think it is OP, it is just the Savage Roar and the fact the deck is easy to play that feels like a cheap win gets people upset. There are other more powerful decks IMO.
Problem is savage roar. But making it 4 mana doesn't do shit actually. It should only buff hero and charge minions, not minions that are already on the board.
Why? It wasn't actually created to only sync with FON, they are completely separate cards. It's total nonsense from players of other gimmick laden classes to constantly hound on Druid for it's ONE decent combo. Meanwhile the same players are pouncing all over the ladder using OP gimmick, non interactive, easy to run decks and have no qualms about it.

Hearthstone needs to make the combo harder for them to pull off, its so ridiculous having to have a taunt up to prevent them from one hitting you.

Yes it should.
Bloodlust costs 5 mana and it only affects minions. In contrast Savage Roar should really cost 5 mana as well because it affects the hero.
But at the very least, it should be a 4 mana spell.

Druid is slow going. most aggro decks will beat druid before turn 7.
Then also Fireball should cost 5 mana and Ice Lance 2 mana.

Maybe Savage Roar should only work on your hero and beast minions, just limit who gains the effect.
If you want my true opinion on a change it should be that savage roar is:
only buffs your hero and ONE random minion with the buff.
Find another cheap way to win druids.
