Can blizzard please nerf the attack to 6...I'm tired of it getting BGH'd, GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rank 20: 38 out of 40 Seasons...I suck!
how would 6 attack be a nerf lol. It will only make the card stronger
Better yet they should make him a 4/8 to really "Blance" him out *Hides from all priest while snickering*
I think your sarcasm/satire detector needs maintenance.
Idk how that was sarcasm. If he goes down to 6 attack, it will only make Dr. Boom stronger. He now longer can be targeted by Big Game Hunter, so one less way to get rid of it
Yes, I understand that -- and, since it's been discussed in this thread, I think iHollerl understands it too. Therefore he was being sarcastic when he asked for such a "nerf."

i like equality and archer. one shot, one kill. buahahaha. then i owl the bots.
oh, people hate that
The problem isn't Boom but the Boom Bots. If the bots were summoned as a deathrattle, Boom would have counters like polymorph, hex, sylvanas, mind control. As it is I can't think of a single card counter outside of deathwing. All the other good legendaries have hard counters, Boom does not.
I honestly haven't decided on whether I think the card is OP or not yet. I can certainly see where the complains are coming from, but I can also see why this card could easily just be hated due to it's sheer ability to wreck people in certain situations. Honestly, I have had quite a bit of luck dealing with this card in most situations, but I can certainly see why it would piss people off. I say they should keep the basic effects of the card but maybe raise the mana of it.
Check out my Twitch stream! I play Hearthstone horribly on a regular basis. http://www.twitch.tv/manostehgreat
Make him a 7/5, or 7/4 if you're feeling harsh.
I love my Dr Boom, but in all fairness there's two big problems with him:
1) He has no actual counter. There's nothing in the game that both wipes the bots and Boom as well (spare Deathwing but you still take the Bot damage).
2) More damning is the simple fact that he makes War Golem obsolete. The great thing about Hearthstone is that virtually every card has something unique about it, and that there's no simply "better card", whether it comes to cost or use. Hell, even argue Silverback Patriarch has its use over Gnomeregan Infantry because its a beast.
Boom, however, is just simply better for every reason, and its become more overused than Sludge Belcher.
Make him a 7/5 so he can still be killed by BGH, yet is easier to take off the board.
The Dr. Boom nerf will never happen. Sorry but it's the new meta and the developer's goal of GvG. I suggest you make a deck that boxes them in before it gets to the point Dr. Boom maters. Indulgent control with no game plan beyond 'survive and somehow win' will continue to be punished by GvG and expansions to come.

He has no actual counter. Let me introduce you to the fantastic Big Game Hunter.
This amazing card destroy a card with 7 or more attack. And... Dr. Boom has 7-attack.
Just found you a counter !

Read the comment again. He's referring to the bots as well.
Hearthstone...I play that.
Music...I make that.
Youtube...I have that.

I read it. He sait that there is no counter. Of course, the Boom Bots can be an annoyance, I occur on this, but normally, Dr. Boom is played on turn 7. If you happen to not have anything in your hand to react to this card at this moment :
1 ) You are probably in a bad spot and are behind in this game.
2 ) You would have not been able to deal with other good drops.
I know that Dr. Boom brings enough value, but unlike things that have been nerfed, you need to reach some point in the game for Dr. Boom to become a real threat. UT was snowballing too easily, Dr. Boom just brings a good board. He has weaknesses... like overextending your board to MCT, as an example.
He has few downsides... I just hope that next set released will offer a new 7-mana that will compete with him.

You have to be wary of many other cards being played then Dr. Boom in different matchups. Like playing around different combo in many decks. Should we nerf those combos because we need to play around them ? I do not think so. Should we nerf Sylvannas, Loatheb and Ragnaros because we can except them being played in many midrange/control decks ? I do not think so. Dr. Boom brings value. He will have competition in the next set being released, I'm sure (I hope) but nerfing him wouldn't do much.

But you also missed the point: all of those cards have counters, whether they can be silenced, assassinated, Faceless'd, or just plain polymorphed. With Boom you can't do any of those things, and that right theres the point.
It's not about competition ("my cards are better than your cards nanana na na naaa!"), but instead strategy. And with Boom taking away that strategy, along with rather bluntly making an entire card obsolete (war golem), its not even a question; he needs to be nerfed, obviously.
So every card that summons at least one token should get nerfed ?

dude, um... listen to yourself. ;) I'm just sayin'
I don't think it really needs a nerf, ok it's basicaly a 9/9 for 7 but it cost you all your turn, and it's just overpower for a winning position, like if your oponent plays it you have at least 1 turn to deal with it, and of corse there is BGH and MCtech that can save you.
What i'm tring to say is that he is not an auto win, He does nothing the turn he is played. It was different with old UT because if your oponent plays it on turn 1 and you don't kill it's a GG. but boom comes on turn 7 (or 6 with the coin) and until there you have plenty ways to eal with him, he just win in this case if you are losing but if you are in this position against a control on turn 7 you already lose, an he don't help a lot with agro decks, he is to slow normaly and can cost you the game.
An of course he is neutral so no class gain any advantage for him, every one can play this card.
