One of my oddest games was against a Contol Priest. Can't remember what turn it was, but it was sometime after all 10 mana crystals had been available for a while.
I finally drew & played Unstable Portal & netted Trade Prince Gallywix. I knew it was a Rogue card, because I received one in a card pack. I'd never payed any attention to it, though, since I almost never play rogue.
Anyway, as soon as I played it, priest played Mind control & snagged it for himself. BUT, I got a Mind Control of my own in return! So next turn I snatched it back... but also gave him back his Mind Control! Back & forth it went for a few rounds, until I decided I had better give him something else to worry about & played some other hefty minions I had in my hand, & kept Mind Control. He had to answer that threat & I just had to eat the damage he dished out by-the-way... knew I'd have to.
But he was too involved in answering my board threat to spare the 10 mana turn to snatch back Gallywix & I got him for good next turn.
I decided just to use him as a battering ram to clear a little room for myself, & next turn +1, the priest finished him off... :) It was ok... he was getting pretty ragged by then! Decent card, though. Works a lot like Lorewalker Cho, but more one sided. Just my bad luck to be up against a priest...
Moral of this story... don't play Gallywix against a late game priest unless you really, really want to get involved in a tug-of-war! :)

Best one for me was drawing a black knight against a druid who had a big taunt up and was winning the game. It was literally maximum RNG possible. It won me the game in the end.
I was in fatigue and then got i used my unstable portal to get a Malygos (3rd time in my history i had got a malygos through portal). Next turn double fireball for the win :)

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless
Cenarius seems to love to come to my add. Though I think that's karmic payback for the game where both of my unstable portals pulled Silverback Patriarch..
Desperate situation - Hunter opponent has 3 minions totalling 5 dmg on board, I have nothing. He has 15 health, I have 9. No cards, we're both top-decking.
I draw Unstable Portal, play it, get Gahz'rilla, play it. He draws a small minion, can't take out Gahz'rilla, does 5 to face, I have 4 left. I draw Madder Bomber and play it. Bomber hits his minion, his face, my face, his face... And Gahz'rilla twice. 24 damage to face, GG.
I'm not sure how it won't be nerfed. It's a 2 mana card that has the potential to win games outright and early. And pretty much no chance of losing anything except 1 or 2 mana worth of tempo at absolute worst.
While fun, it's overpowered that it doesn't follow rarity rules when summoning.
I'm not as scared of Gahz in general. I usually run a BGH, and Hunters seldom get to Houndmaster their Highmanes into its skill range, making a buffed Gahz the perfect target in that match-up. I don't think Silence is an efficient answer to it in the first place. Now Bolvar Buffed-Weenie on the other hand...
Yes, I see your point. Unstable Portal, however, allows you to smuggle it onto the board usually before your opponent expects anything like that. Kind of functions like Ramp Druid, but in that matchup, you'd be kind of silly not to expect such shenanigans!
As to silences being inefficient... I've come to that overall opinion myself, but being still a relatively new player ( less than 2 months) I don't have a lot of workable substitutes. At least silences are fairly cheap, (2 flavors are available to everyone) and you simply have to decide whether taking up the spots in your deck is worth it or not. Kind of like carrying taunts.

There's something really off with the summoning here. I see a legendary 1 out of 4 portals at worst.
I believe there are almost 60 Legendarys, that's quite a lot. And I believe that the Portal (and other similar cards like Webspinner) do not take card rarity into account. So you have just as much chance as getting a specific Legendary as you do any other card.

Versus a Rogue, I played a turn 5 Tirion Fordring with a Duplicate in play :D
He burst Tirion Fordring's Divine Shield, then conceded before allowing me to get my 2 copies :(

Dude just coined a portal on turn 1 and played The Beast on turn 3. Game over for me very quickly.

Gruul, Gahz'rilla, Antonidas, Fire Elemental, but my fair share of oozes, mechwarper, and other weenies.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Ghaz'rilla is waaayyy bad! I netted it once & it surprised me! It's definitely something you want to get rid of quick if your opponent plays it.
I think everybody needs an extra silence in their "hip pocket" to deal with all the deathrattles out now.... especially late game ones.
Of course... I mean everybody BUT my opponents! ~_^
I really, truly hope they don't nerf Unstable Portal, or if they do it won't be a killer nerf. It's just too much fun!

Really wish I had taken a screenshot of this while on my iPad.
Turn 9 used double portal and dug out Prophet Velen and Faceless Manipulator
Turn 10: play Velen (4); play faceless (Velen) 2; play Fireball for 24; GG
There's something really off with the summoning here. I see a legendary 1 out of 4 portals at worst.
If anyone, ANYONE can be more unlucky, just show me...
Post your luck!

I love this card. I got many legendarys from it, but turn 3 Mogor the Ogre or turn 3 coin into Baron Geddon is just epic. Although turn 5 Grommash Hellscream can be fun too. :D

Turn 3 unstable portal in to Dr. Boom.
Turn 4 Dr. Boom.
Turn 5 unstable portal into Baron Rivendare.
BOOOM.
unless you are already winning, dropping health to 15 on turn 6-7 as a Mage is not an op play
