I know it's only the second day, but with the fervor of people playing the new decks is all over the place. I can already see problematic cards coming to the table and I am curious as to what other think.
KEEP IN MIND this is not throwing salt around, this is just the community responding to what R&D missed.
I'll go first, Kangor, Dancing King needs to be nerfed. I did a Twisting Nether twice to try and keep it from going back to my opponent's hand and continue giving them more and more lifesteal minions. There is something overlooked on this minion. A good nerf for this would be it can only come back to your hand if there is a minion in it. If there is a situation where you have no cards in hand... it still goes back there. Unless everyone is packing Silence of some kind or Sylvanas, the Accused in every deck. It is brutal. What about anyone else?
Kangor deck is a meme. Why nerf a non-meta defining card? Paladin has no removal tools vs hard agro. Warlock on the other hand has both removal and can pump out huge minions from 4-5 mana that keep auto resummoning giant after giant after giant.. To me warlock and DK look like first candidates to be nerfed

Are we even seeing the same card? Kangor, Dancing King's effect is a Deathrattle. Playing Twisting Nether to prevent the effect from going off is such an obviously bad play I'm impressed you didn't realize that after doing it twice.
I think paladin is in the biggest need of a nerf of any class right now. It pretty much has the best early game and mid game. My target would be all the pure paladin cards. Lightray should cost one less for each paladin spell instead of each card and The Countess should cost 9 mana or her discover spells should be way worse (cost 3 mana and make the discover cost 1 mana or take away the discover aspect).
Literally want to see warlock dropped off a shelf, cheating out a 9 mana cards with no repercussion on turn 4 is stupid
also want to see DK losing out as well. Construct Quarter is beyond the stupidest thing on the planet not only that, they just have too many good control cards early on in the meta. Which is to be expected because none of its cards were rotated out except maybe a few core cards. like lets be honest, Horn of Winter ? theres a reason why innervate got nerfed, its basically the same exact thing.
but lets talk the real elephant in the room. you can practically run every one of their legendaries to full effect in almost every variant of their deck
I dont know if Kangor is a tier 400 card or a tier 401 card, obviously pretty strong. Maby a good nerf could be to set his stats in 1/1 and it cost to 25 mana but i will still be playable
Warlock--mana cheating, the 5/3 that pulls an undead needs to cost 6, but with that nerf the deck wonr be worst, it will be unplayable.
Paladin--- everything, unfair class, tier s as aggro, tier s as midrange and.......tier sss in scamming with 0 mana legendaries when you literally have lost a game.
Dh---the new weapon and the rust legendary must change
Dk--- new exp + rotation==== the same deck as blood, profane and frost..?????????? Op as hell and boring the see the same cards.
Kangor shouldn't get nerfed. It's turn 5 at its earliest and unreliable. The deck can highroll, but it's not a tier 1 deck.
Pure aggro pala is really strong tho and as a pala main I'll see my prediction come true. Have fun for 1 week and see the class get obliterated by nerfs. After the nerfs, we'll go back to rogue, warlock and death knight as the only classes in standard.
OP here... I've been playing the Amorphous Slime since it came out and cheating out the Flesh Behemoth and then hitting that with Shallow Grave has been a wonderful piece of stupid for me to play... The only defense I have for that combo/card is that it has a battlecry of needing that key undead in your hand and hoping that your opponent doesn't hit it with a Silence effect after it pulls your Rivendare, Warrider. That is a seque to a concede right there.
That aside, the reason I personally hated on Kangor, Dancing King so much is because he's a total mid-end of game answer for aggro allowing you to set up for the control/combo fight. And the reason I Twisting Nethered him was because my opponent's hand was empty... and then they drew into a minion and played him again... that seems wrong. Especially when his text specifically calls out "SWAP". If there isn't a minion, then it shouldn't go back to your hand.
It feels wrong but isn’t. Shadow hunter voljin works the same way. These cards basically sap and then cast ancestors call for mechanic purposes. That made voljin usable as a fringe tech against big priest (a very bad one even back then)
Many cards shold be nerfed considering that there isn't enough cards in the pool of other classes to deal with as they were dealt in the past. Blood and frost dk and paladin meta decks deserve more atention.
DK: Blood and Frost DK are the best decks of the meta, too many cards are completely over the top. So broken that any kind of unholy dk is completely neglected.
Hematurge and Vizir should have 2 HP and be easier to deal with. Because any minion left alive for DK will become a 4/5 rush.
Construct quarter: as long as this card reads "destroy" and not transform, it will be overpowered. Also needs to have only 2 uses.
Screaming Banshee shouldn't have lifesteal by itself, specially at having 6 (WTF) hp.
Gnome muncher, tired of its pseudo charge. Also, why lifesteal on this card? It already has situational rush/charge and taunt. Blood DK has enough ways to gain health.
Frost strike: too much value in one card. 3 mana would be a more adequate cost. Honorable kill would the best solution, but the keyword rotated.
Bonebreaker: 1 mana, 8 damage? I mean, look at Soulbreaker, a more balanced card.
Frostwyrm fury: Just make it 8 mana already. This card is bullshit.
Horn of winter: make it consume 2 corpses, or 3 even. Allows too many broken things.
Paladin: all paladin meta decks are just too consistent.
Kotori Lightblade: make it a 3/2. Too much health. If survives one turn, you are dead.
Order in court: lose the "draw a card" and make it be a huge tempo loss by playing this card for its huge beneficial effect. It's practically a "you will be dead by turn 8 after I play this" card.
Warhorse trainer: make it a 4/3.
Countess: Make the discovered legendaries cost 1 again.
Lightray: Should read "paladin spells" not all cards. Should also cost 10 mana if the card stays with the same text.
Not saying that all of them should be done, but some.

Additionally Vampiric Blood and Patchwerk alongside Theotar, the Mad Duke disables every control decks win condition. and don't get me started on their insane curve.
Honorable mentions for bullshit Marrow Manipulator who's not even a legendary ( this should be enemy minions not face) and Frostwyrm's Fury (literally just compare this a second to Firelands Portal
but lets talk the real elephant in the room. you can practically run every one of their legendaries to full effect in almost every variant of their deck
Either twig gets hit or instrument tech banned from wild. Mechathun combo on 4/5 or just astalor are now common. The consistency is insane
Also: if 6 people suggest different classes and decks maybe standard is in a good place
I dont know if Kangor is a tier 400 card or a tier 401 card, obviously pretty strong. Maby a good nerf could be to set his stats in 1/1 and it cost to 25 mana but i will still be playable

After a single day, I miss my Faceless Manipulator:'(
A bit off topic because It revolves Wild rotating but... 🙃
But I Foresee this Meta Will be DESTROYED by Druids!

So rather than nerf, maybe a big fix on that?

They will nerf old DK cards for sure, DK expansion is already in the past, and they should no longer tolerate its power in Standard.

Wretched Exile goes crazy, I can see it getting to 3 mana and still being played.
Groovy Cat is killing the Duels meta
What's duels?
