Are we even seeing the same card? Kangor, Dancing King's effect is a Deathrattle. Playing Twisting Nether to prevent the effect from going off is such an obviously bad play I'm impressed you didn't realize that after doing it twice.
THey had no cards in hand... with the wording saying "SWAP", I figured it wouldn't go into his hand... but it did. Which as I talk about it more, sounds like a Bug vs a nerf
Literally want to see warlock dropped off a shelf, cheating out a 9 mana cards with no repercussion on turn 4 is stupid
On turn 4? How? Voidcaller costs 4 mana, but it also has to die. On top of that, without Mal'Ganis or Enhanced Dreadlord in your hand, it's basically a dead card.
Disco Maul and a lot of DK staples (unfortunately)
I love Disco Maul.. it is so stupid funny. Early and mid-game it creates a problem as the minis you've been keeping at bay, well suddenly one of them is bigger. Or mid-late game that less that savory lifestealing dirtbag that Kangor brought out is bigger and gets them more life.
Ok I've been laddering with a Shadow Priest deck using a few of the new cards in it like Fight Over Me, a total 5 star card in my opinion BTW, and Ghost Writer, another amazing card with Finale, and I encountered another Paladin deck with Kangor in it...
I HAVE to double down on this... I had my opponent to 4 cards in their deck and 3 life with a minion on deck.. I couldn't draw a silence efect for my life... Even with Ghost Writer getting me cards, I was able to get an Identity Theft, but nothing that could have helped me with that little prick.
Then he walked his Kango dirtbag into one of my minions and had Ragnaros the Firelord and The Leviathan in hand... I had him dead in the water and I couldn't navigate that stupid Kangor, Dancing King. If you don't have something to Hex, Silence, or steal him then it's just a complete game turner
Looks likely that Twig of the World Tree will go to 5 or maybe even 6 mana (likely with a durability reduction) due to how easily it is tech drawn.
Weapon Technician may even be nerfed to 3 mana with a stat increase, to reduce the play rate. It’s also caused quite a Kingsbane resurgence.
Illuminate should only work for Holy spells to slow Big Priest and the Murloc that draws and reduces the cost of the next two Murlocs played needs to be adjusted.

The issue with twig is that it gives them player 10 more mana crystals so easily. If this card were to be nerfed, I'd imagine it would need to be something like "get mana crystals to max 10". That works certainly slow things down

Twig durability could be 20 and it would not do anything. You break it with sphere, never with attacks. My guess is it will go to refresh. the murloc issue is flurgl tox. illuminate could also get banned

that wouldn’t change anything at all, you shouldn’t try to play guff before breaking twig anyway In most matchups. Just go to 10 mana and play ultimate infestation. You can watch Corbett playing the deck to #1 - it’s very rare that it would matter
The whole idea of the card is that it does give you 10 MORE mana crystals- it’s just happening way too early. You’re right about the durability, as it is only abused with Sphere, but I’m merely stating that if it were to have it’s cost increased significantly, it would only be fair to reduce the durability.
If Twig and Instrument Tech both had their cost increased, it would slow the combo, forcing it to be be played on T6/7 most times.
I do agree though, having it refresh would probably be healthier for the game, would destroy the deck in it’s current form and future proof the Twig.
I dont know if we are the stage that we should consider changing discover because the DK has so much strong cards but those are the changes that we can make:
Neutrals can't discover triple rune type card. Only the discover from at least one rune can discover triple rune of that rune.
Neutrals can't discover other rune type card than the runes that deck was build of.
THey had no cards in hand... with the wording saying "SWAP", I figured it wouldn't go into his hand... but it did. Which as I talk about it more, sounds like a Bug vs a nerf
This gives so much gas to the already fast outsider mechanic it is ridiculous. I totally back this nerf up
Maybe a rework, it's so lame that card generation with the weapon and that thing

new xpac = tournamet pt 2 with all the aggro decks.. you can play full curve all mana each turn and still win/lose on turn 6.
This post didn't age well

Yeah, twig was a Problem Even before the Expansion, back then it was a highroll, now it’s consistent. Cost wise it would have to go to at least 7 mana
I dont know if we are the stage that we should consider changing discover because the DK has so much strong cards but those are the changes that we can make:
Death Knight
Vampiric Blood
Soulstealer
Frostwyrm's Fury
Paladin
The Purator
Legendary Invitation
Demon Hunter
Fierce Outsider
Neutrals
Foul Egg
Maybe something like those? I don't know, maybe some more nerfs?
You would buff the neutral discover cards this way. They get very consistent. Rune restrictions on discover are a good idea in 1 year though
