Hello. So I have seen one of the new DK cards, Death Growl and the first thing that came to my mind was to make a DK Elwynn Boar deck. Unfortunately, Elywnn Boar is part of the United in Stormwind set and that set will rotate out. I mean I dont know why I thought it would stay, but I thought it would be involved in core.
I have to say, along with Renounce Darkness , Elwynn Boar is one in my opinion one of the most fun cards in the game. I even shared my personal deck here. The only deck I ever shared, and its gonna be my 6 years on here now.
So, I wanted to dedicate this post to honor Elwynn Boar, before it eventually leaves Standard after a few days. For the times I played a Elwynn Boar deck and believe me, I played A LOT. Those were some of the the most fun Hearthstone games I ever played. And Elwynn Boar, is one of the best Hearthstone cards every damn printed.
EDIT: Elwynn Boar doesnt work the way I think it would with Death Growl . For Elwynn Boar to activate, boars need to die, so the spreading deathrattle really doesnt mean much unless you already have 7 boards dead. Thanks for user TheArcanist236 for clarifying.
Unfortunately you would only get extra swords since the counter looks at the name of the card when it dies. Learned that the hard way when I tried to turbo out the sword in wild with feign death and play dead. Wild boar priest is fairly competitive if you don't get too high on ladder though.

Card Design ChampionDeath Growl doesn't work with the Boar. You need specifically for boars to die, not just the Deathrattles to proc.
