Blizzard is to lazy to use a brain, so they postpone the problem for 2 years
Discolock was not a problem before this expansion.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Standard, Wild, and Classic player.
Losing to Sire Denathrius makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Sire Denathrius nerf makes me want to play this game again. Losing to Deathrattle Rogue makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Prince Renathal nerf makes me not want to play this game anymore.
Not sure if it was a specific combo, more than it was just too easy to stack disco cards that spawn creatures or deal damage straight to the face. With enough cards in hand you can drop board and deal 10-20+ damage to the face. If not more shenanigans.
I had an 85 % win rate with disc lock in the wild before the ban in about 30- 40 games. The amount of damage I did is insane basically turn 4 with imp and the banned card was game over
I have to ask: why do you play such a deck? Do you feel challenged in any way?
That's what "Meta" is: Some decks are stronger than others, and if you aren't playing the strong deck, you are opting to just lose the game.
I'd posted about this here before, If it's not Disco-lock, it'll return to Secret Mage, Totem Shaman (Even or not), and Pirate Rogue (which has already happened). And when that's the case, your question could be applied to those decks as well: Because they win.
why??
go face!
Its op in Wild. 80% winrate in legand

They can't nerf a standard card so they banned it.. Once it will rotate out of it s still broken they will nerf it or leave it banned.
PRIEST

malchezar imp and tome tampering with some discard cards gave you lots of tempo and value
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
You can't ban Wild-Only cards.
Not nerfed in duels. Still going strong.
It's from Nathria. So it's a Standard card.

it's a fast climb. And whenever I usually try some self-made deck that is sorta fun I get demolished instantly.
People are tryhards most of the time. Rarely is anyone playing for fun.
