you know why this card is bad? because its free....why dont they give the new 3d leg skins free? because thats good...and also behind a paywall.....(/&"&/"( them)
this card is trash,...I used it in my massive mana ramp druid and it was dead in my hand the whole time....and when I used it I had no space in hand...and the spells were trash,.......the RNG.... so whats the point? no pro use it. its just filler card. gives us something good like sire...not this..........make a good NEUTRAL CARD...like...pay 3 draw 2 cards?...cuz hunter has almost zero draw power...I know mage has intelect but thats a class card.
also...its a paladin card? wtf....thats not neutral...
its not a good card but what can you expect from a neutral. it has flexibility but the flexibility is not worth the slot. if you can discover it, its pretty good.
It's not a Paladin card but surely the theme is for Paladins (They fight for the holy light). Discovering it off of Battle Vicar would be nice in control match ups.
Yeah it's really only good in Ramp druid due to the 20 mana and thief rogue cause it gives you more ammo. I think it should've cost like 7, cause there's never a time where it'll feel good to play at its current cost since it's a lost turn.
Why write off a card this early? This card has many potential applications. Thief Rogue can use it quite well, decks that use Multicaster may want to consider it since it's a neutral Holy spell, Mages can repeat it with Dawngrasp, etc. That is not even accounting for all of the synergies that may appear over the upcoming sets.
The only core issue with the card is that it's a value play. Random cards are really good for attrition-based control decks, but attrition hasn't been viable since Hearthstone released on mobile, since Blizzard wants the game to be mobile-friendly and therefore game length to be short.
Sunwell is great. You just put it on the wrong deck. Ramp Druid's logic (ANY actual non-bs decent ramp druid deck at least) is to sacrifice early tempo for 3-4 turns to get a MASSIVE pay off.
Now, random spells that need to be hard-cast is not a massive pay off. So maybe you shouldn't put it on such a deck in the first place.
But how about you try it on a Open the Waygate Mage on Wild? (thank me later)
I love it! Then again cards like Yogg Box's, Rune of the Archemage, both Yoggs, Raid the Sky Temple, TMA and Deck of Lunacy are what I consider top tier cards that I played non-stop even if they actively lost me games.

also good with Finley to swap bad hand and draw many, but in order to be good - Blizzard needs to "tune" its RNG to favor generate meta cards and not unplayable spells.
It's a 9 mana Evocation that gives you random spells from random classes, how could it possibly be good?
It does improve a bit with mana cost reduction and "auto play highest spell" cards, but "add random" is rarely a competitive card, unless it helps with a quest.
It's not on the power level of other free legendaries offered recently, as mentioned above, but it's a nice value generator. Not a must include in any deck, but a nice value option if that is what you need.

Weren't Denathrius, Vargoth, Drek´thar and Lady Prestor all free? Is this not obviously just a fun flavorful NEUTRAL SPELL that's supposed to give newbies some cards to play with, in any deck, rather than sending them even further back with a 3D Skin?!

go face!
More of a Arena card that's one of those crazy top decks in a close game that will win it for you.
Yes, you are wrong.
Why? Because Prince Renathal was also free and turned the meta upside-down.
It's also not a paladin card. Should have gone to Specsavers:
It's also the day after it came out, so yes "no pro use it". Maybe it is bad, maybe not. Give it some time.

"They chose go give away THIS card because it's bad!"
Meanwhile Prince Renathal, Sire Denathrius, Blademaster Okani, Kael'thas Sunstrider, Archmage Vargoth, and SN1P-SN4P

Sunwell seems decent in Control decks as it's good value at 2-3 mana for a few cards and later in the game it's a full reload if you need it.
The RNG means it will never be meta defining but it ain't bad.

Why would they give away legendary hero skins for free?
DJ
A neutral spell can never be good. Otherwise some class may just abuse it.
It seems terribly clunky
Nothing against hero skins, I've bought a few and there's a few... ok there's literally 3... that I really like.
But I'll take a new legendary over a cosmetic any day, please.
this + guff is a nightmare.
after a rush ramp refill hand with random spells

My comments refer mostly to the wild format.
