Either im too stupid to understand this card, or this card is bugged. In the last 3 matches at least four times this card did _not_ swap the cost while my opponent 100% had a spell in his hand. In one turn it got swapped with his coin and the very next round nothing got swapped, while he still got the coin AND three low mana spells he played from his hand, not drawn in that turn. (And just for the case, yes, i played a second one...)
When i think about it : after you cast it for the 2nd time it could hit the same spell and changes nothing since your opponent wont play 9 or 10 mana spells.
But you say it didnt work ultimately for the first time played? then he did not have a spell in hand. I never had buggy sorceress so far -only dump missplays with coin or so said same spell hit
I'm guessing you swapped the cost of your coin with their prep or the like, I've done this once or twice, can happen before you get into the right mindset for the deck. Toss coins before Barbra, and second Barbra can hit the same spell in their hand, so is less likely to be backbreaking. Have not noticed the issues you mention.
and i guess you wanted to swap with 10mana dragon amulet or 9mana box? what makes you sure with that 0-3mana spells in rogues hand?
The replay. The first BS swapped with the coin. The next turn the BS didnt swap anything. He had at least the coin and the 1 mana spell "gone fishing" in his hand.

By your own admission, you played a second Barbaric that could've hit their 10mana coin?

Nope, since i had no 10 mana spell in my hand. Like i said. No indicator, no animation, no sound.
I mean, without seeing a replay... What did you have in hand the turn you played the second Barbaric?
https://paste.pics/3993061b6ac8b73c140d97914899e682 and at this point you have to believe me, the rogue did not play cards that could fuck that up. And as i said it happened more than once. Tell me a mech paladin who plays 4, 6 and 10 mana spells (6 was a random on my side). In fact he played 0 spells and zerro spells in hand before i won. And then there is hunter. Maybe im too casual, but what 7 and 9 mana card could a hunter own in his turn 6 hand? standard. But even IF ALL of them where able to cheat those spells into their hands, while having so many other spells in their hand... my BS failed.
Barbaric doesn't do anything vs. Spell-less hand, for one, as in vs mech paladin and even beast hunter, that's partly how you counterplay, keep hand empty of spells around 5-7 to make barbaric not give tempo swing.
As for that replay, you did barbaric, discounted your rune, and then played the other barbaric with a 0cost rune in hand? Replay doesn't show discounts unfortunately.
Barbaric whiffs when you have cheap spells in your own hand, you ALREADY discounted a spell and it gets hit again, hits an enemy cheap spell twice in a row, or their hand has no spells, like vs mech paladin or mech mage quite often.

Might be it got "swapped" with a spell of the exact same cost? Since it is randomly chosen, this can and will happen.

Nope, that rogue got a full hand of minions and 0-3 mana spells. Also there was no sound and animation and no color indicator on my spells.

Deck is dumb tho, insane scams everywhere.
