What they did with the change is twofold. On one hand, trying to make druid work for their late game win condition vs the hard control decks that could handle the big oracle-giants-ivus turns but got wrecked by Kaz, which pretty much strangled the meta and made control decks unplayable outright. And on the other hand, gave those decks a late game win condition that they have to pay deck building restriction costs for, as a win condition should.
That is not to say Kaz was the only issue, it's the ramp+consistency+draw+big threats that makes the deck so well rounded, where Kaz was just tech for control matchups with no realistic deck building cost, which is obviously problematic. That is what they tried to address while trying to favor minion-dragon decks to open up deck building options.
You blame druid, and you have a point in that the class traits ENABLE Kaz to be meta warping before and after rotation, but druid doesn't do other things right now, it's also Kaz that enabled druid both pre and post rotation. Easier to hit a neutral while opening deck building space than to nuke druid based on this alone. But yes, druid WILL eventually be hit again this year, once other things come up. The fact that starfish+battle master can find room in that deck shows the deck shell is too flexible in the first place.
The most adorable part of this post is that you think Blizzard understands Hearthstone.
Its their creation so who understands it better? Could you tell me the format in which their audio files were made? Did you know the games actually 3D but looking at it facing down? Tell me more about what you know?
I'm a bit confused by OP. The devs exactly pointed out that Kaz got nerfed to avoid polarizing druid even further. Nobody accused Kaz for being the "meta breaker", even thou the devs called Kaz a solo win con. So, Instead of killing the tempo or survivability of ramp druid they went for the late game win con, to give control decks a better chance against ramp. Other decks like dragon priest and control warrior should (hopefully) be able to play 4 dragons before, so you could call this nerf an attempt to move Kaz from only the typical ramp druid deck. Now if that will ultimately work I can't tell and it's too early to know anyway. I don't think that anybody disagrees that the main strength of ramp druid is... ramp. It's guff that carries the deck along with the mana gain/refill/cheat. Aggro still punishes ramp by nature, so maybe a 1 turn delay of guff won't make the game any more enjoyable, even thou Guff is an over tuned card.
Btw: That people argue with your "anti fatigue is the main purpose" argument is pretty expectable since you presented it as your main point, even if that wasn't really your standpoint.
Kazakus should learn to behave like one other dragon. You may have heard about Galakrond.
Blizzard should assign rarities to his treasures and you get to pick better rarity ones as you play more dragons. We do have treasures that do not win game on their own. And than you have rager, wand, queldallar and book. Give him more depth.
And miracle growth is overpriced. It should be 5 mana draw 1 summon elemental with taunt and stats equal to your hand size. (Dark alley pact from Stormwind)
And maybe replace mana Crystals for empty ones on Guff Hero card.
Kaelthas was also hit too hard. They could change him to 7 and 1 cost but let him have old effect via corruption
switcheroo cannot be abused hard if you swap stats between your and your opponent's minions. But 2 mana. But I do agree there is a card that does deserve a ban from priest. It a boar. Elwyn one at that.
Control doesn't have tools to beat this deck with how much removal priest has access to.
Control has some chance against quest rogue (caverns) although nerfs to sap, vanish and Scabbs would be handy.
With the amount of support pirates have gotten they should lose their southsea captain.
make Mr. Smite battlecry ALL minions have rush. And to be honest we need effect like this in the game to make the game feel better.
I would also like to propose 2 nerfs to mechs click cloker 2 health but no divine shield and security automaton 4 health but only gains attack.
And possibly nerf sweeper to deathrattles instead of battlecries

Interesting 4set meta complications.
