Hello everyone, I would like to know why the new jaraxxus card has a different text and a boring effect. The original version has a much nicer effect and the text says "destroy your hero ...". Why did blizzard keep the effect and text and just created a different version for the core set. In classic mode you can still play the old version, but I would find it much better if the new jaraxxus had the same text and effect as mentioned above. And Why is there no Original jaraxxus when i want to make a wild Deck? How do you see that? I'm sorry for my English, I hope it's understandable

 Technically not the same since original Jaraxxus also set your health to 15 and it was limited number.

I mean, the effect is basically just better than it was. And the text is in line with other hero cards that do a thing.

Is it really that bad if Jaraxxus doesn't destroy your hero?

the effect is lame af and the Original Text is way More og than now. Jaraxxus killed wilfred, that‘s because it‘s cool

Keep it as a cool card with cool text and cool effect, but nobody plays it. Or change it to its current boring effect with boring text but every warlock plays it?

I rather have a core class legendary be playable since it is going to remain in standard for long. Or do you prefer cards like King krush which nobody plays.

 I mean creating a post and ranting about it seems to suggest you do find it a big deal. Also the original version is available in the Classic mode, in Wild you will only have access to the Core Set version.

 I will actually answer your question instead of just telling you not to worry about it.

They did this so it works the same as other Hero cards, to avoid confusing newer players, and to make the card more competitive. It would not be playable if it worked as it did before. (I personally think it's a little too strong now, especially as a Core card, but the power level this year seems to keep rising, so I may not feel that way much longer.)

Thank you for your answer :) yeah that makes sense that the new version is easier to understand for new players. I just thought it isn‘t that diffucult to copy paste the animation and quote. Have a nice day!

I meant it‘s not a big deal for blizzard to copy paste the Quote and animation. It is totally fine that you can play the Original jaraxxus in Classic and the new one in other Game modes. I personally like the new one more because it’s stronger, but the details are not the same :)
