Alex is mainly a mid-range card, and a good one, but she can benefit control decks as well. I hope she does not get nerfed. Decks which are not aggro or combo need good cards too!
Ah yes, another example of players being emotional and subjective. Similarly to Leeroy, more recently Il'gynoth, you virtually only see Alex when it kills you off. It gets frustrating, but you have no idea how many times Alex/Il'gynoth are stuck in hand and you win those games because you're simply not in range. If you develop the ability to read the opponent's hand you can realise that a card that has been held for more than 3-4 turns is very likely Alex. But the card is not overpowered, and its flexibility and proactivity makes it great in a lot of different strategies, from aggressive to control.
Another example is pyroblast: 10 damage for 10 mana, terrible card, but people felt bad about it because they only saw it when they got killed by it. Alex is not nerf worthy, and win conditions for decks need to exist, otherwise you'll have the equivalent of pirest mirrors everywhere.
Ok, you make a fair point. I'll just take it out of my deck because you said so.
You're welcome.
What I am not supposed to heal or finish some one off with Alex that is blasphemy.I think blizzard has more stuff to worry about like pally
If you can't keep enough health to allow for your opponent's Alex turn, you get what you deserve.

Sounds like a salty priest. Been taking to many dracarys to the face huh kid?
Alex is far from an issue.
If you died to Alex on turn 9, you were going to lose anyway.
Aggro can find 8 damage without Alex.

Ladies and gentleman,
this is Mambo turn 9
I mean, it's not Alex but all the aggro crap thrown at your face before turn 9 that gets you killed
No, u stop.
No.
But also, balance changes happen this week and are perhaps announced today.
Aggro decks winning on turn 9, by playing a 9 mana legendary minion?
sounds like a bit of a paradox...
Healing is generally cheaper than damage in hearthstone so I think a fair change to Alex would be to make her deal 6 damage or heal 10.
