The wording in the card is heavily misleading. It basically shares Gruul's one but doesn't act the same way. It doesn't spawn imps at the end of each turn, only yours! Gruul instead correctly gets +1/+1 at the end of your turn AND the opponent's turn! And that makes a huge difference.
It's misleading. But the portal itself says "at the end of your turn". It doesn't solve the issue with the wording on Neeru Fireblade himself, but the developers have confirmed it's a mistake.

Yeah, except the fact that one may very well craft the legendary for its text and then discover it doesn't work as intended. I'd be really pissed!
Actually i was surprised positively, that portal summons 6 imps instead of 2 : ).
And I always watch youtube video before crafting any special effect legendary - if someone is pissed off by different effect than description - that's very well - better to learn how to spend your money in virtual game, than in real life.

How can you be this stupid? Game says what it does and it doesn't. You shouldn't have to check spend gold or money wtf. That's really deep crawling in blizz a**

I agree with this sentiment. It sucks but life experience is a big part of how we learn. We can't be totally 100% informed about absolutely everything. Sometimes you find these out because of something negative. I've had a couple of lessons learned regarding driving that only came about because I got a fine. I can whinge and complain that it isn't fair but life just isn't fair.
I get that this is different and if you feel aggrieved I'm not saying you're wrong. If Blizzard corrected it and offered a refund if whatever, I wouldn't complain but if they don't, it's their choice ultimately. I've learned many a lesson from being burned by things I've felt were unfair. Again, don't confuse this with me saying "just shut up and take it" but if it isn't the outcome you want, at least try and learn from it.
If the portal summoned the imps at the end of the opponent's turn, that would mean that you would get to attack with the imps on your turn, potentially meaning that you get 18 damage in every turn just because you decked yourself. It just wouldn't make sense. As to the wording on the card, it's sort of an unwritten rule for Blizz that card text can't be longer than 4 lines, so the intended text on Neeru wouldn't adhere to that.
To be fair, the OP has a point: the card wording is incorrect and misleading. The fact "unfair things" can happen in life is not a reason to just let them happen; no progress would have been made along History with that mindset 😉. That is, whilst I agree there is no need to "whine" too hard about this issue of misleading text (there are worse things in life!), one has to admit the issue does exist and it should thus not be dismissed.
To Blizzard: this kind of mistakes happen, there is nothing wrong with that; there is, however, something wrong with not fixing such oversights.
Aside about balance
Tangentially, I find that an "end of each turn" effect would be too broken (18 unavoidable damage that can go face each turn would be a bit too much), but the current "end of your turn" effect is too weak (especially when you compare it to, for instance, Jaraxxus).
As a comparison point, let's remember that we used to have a 10/10 card with straight up "deathrattle: win the game", Mecha'thun, and a card, Chef Nomi, that filled your board with 6/6s, thus threatening 42 damage on the next turn across seven bodies.
I'd thus would love to see that card receive some love, and be changed to:
At the start of each turn, fill your board with 3/2 imps with Rush
Or another option would be:
At the end of your turn, fill your board with 2/1 imps. Give them +1/+1 for the rest of the game.
I really like this one, to be honest; I find it so flavourful without being oppressive
Remember that the portal in and of itself takes a card slot, so we are talking about max 6 imps each time; at the latest stages of the game, and with the owner taking incremental fatigue damage.

I believe, that your understanding of life cost much more stress than mine. I just expect less from humans than you and i'm happy with that. In my work I'm preparing instructions / interface for people. No matter how much time you spend on it, there are always mistakes and misunderstandings - maybe that's why I feel less pissed off, when blizzard card has different description than effect.

I agree, I've come to terms with the fact that sometimes, shit happens. Not just in hearthstone or even games, all across life. I accept that others aren't perfect and hope as much as possible for people to give the same back to me because I'm definitely not perfect. Sometimes stuff is just a bit crap, we learn, we move on.
Do agree with the post above though, they should now change it, given that they are aware the wording is incorrect.
