By the "3 mana that can become an 8/8" I assume you mean Crossroads Gossiper. First of all, it can't become an 8/8, it would be an 8/7. That aside, if your opponeny has multiple secrets and you didn't kill the Gossiper before anything else, that's your fault. If he has exactly Truthseeker + Gossiper + Oh My Yogg + Avenge then maybe, but in most scenarios that isn't the case.
Just Oh My Yogg! + Noble Sacrifice actually make the Gossiper unkillable, or at least a guaranteed 6/5 no matter how you try to remove it. Add Avenge to the mix and a deck like Rush Warrior will often have to deal with an 11/9
Here is my latest scenario. He has a turn 1 random 1 drop from the 0 cast spell that MUST be dealt with this turn, otherwise it will get a hand of adal and its gg. The only play i have on 2 mana with coin in hand, is to play Kolkar Pack Runner, coin, arcane shot. It's THE only play. If i just play Pack runner...it dies to Adal...gg. If I just play Arcane Shot...not using mana efficiently and likely gg. So... I go with Pack Runner, coin...
Oh My Yogg resolves...its a Shadowstep. Counters my spell. leaves me with no minion and not even enough mana to play Arcane Shot. GG Concede. Oh My Yogg is busted. Paladin in general is busted right now as seen by its Win Rate. There are just way too many efficient early game plays from Paladin right now that simply cant be dealt with by a vast majority of classes. Anyone not using Paladin to climb ladder right now is a fool.
If you think one Hand of Adal is enough to concede then you're terrible at this game and should probably just quit
I don’t think you understand how Hearthstone works
I've played since beta and have reached Legend multiple times, I know how it works better than you my guy

Then burn your Athletic Studies and Brawl it. Or use a buffed Samuro. Or Playmaker plus basically anything buffed.
Secret Pally only has a few major threats, if you can burn through them early then you win. They have 2x Hammer of the Naaru, 2x Crossroads Gossiper, and Kazakus. Unless they highroll Avenge onto a Crabrider, the rest of the deck is baby minions. Rush War should be wiping out anything they play as soon as it hits the board basically, and you want to purposely trigger Avenge or Galloping when you can deal with it even if it means less face damage.
The problem that most people have is trying to race secret pally and kill them fast. That doesnt work. You have to outvalue them and not give them the chance to stack shit.
You told someone he should quit the game because he realised and pointed out the importance of dealing with a turn 1 minion against Paladin lol. You can see how that makes you appear to lack an understanding of the matchup and how they can snowball from that lead?
Maybe if you had offered him some advice instead of just posting a moronic comment the fact that you are actually some kind of Hearthstone god would be more apparent.

That's 3 cards to make a 6/5. Consider that fact and suddenly it doesn't seem quite so overpowered anymore. Demon Hunter can deal with that with just one card. (The 2/3 Rush minion with silence, and your HP to test for Noble first.
And if you're not demon hunter, then getting rid of a 6/5 shouldn't be the most difficult thing in the world. The secrets of Paladin are pretty well known, so should be fairly expected / avoidable
Usually I try to use a low cost spell 0-2 mana, but when I cast a ONE mana spell it usually becomes a freaking Shadow Council , so my entire hand becomes rubbish. GG Concede, can 't wait for rotation or nerf.

3 damage to my own face + overload.
