Is it just me or is Kazakus GS bugged? Everytime I’m trying to cast it on turn 4 in my Libram Paladin it doesn’t proc the battlecry so I end up with just a 3/3 body on the board. Yes, it happens w/o having shuffled any other 4-cost cards in my deck. I’ve noticed it only bugs on turn 4(4mana) and turn 3+coin. On turns 5+ it works as intended.
edit: I haven’t tested it in a different deck/class.

How do you think, what happens with a 5 mana card in your deck after you reduce its cost by 1?
It happened so many times this week in Grandmasters: players sat with an unactivated Kazakus in hand because they had played Aldor Attendant but no other Libram reducing cards. It's why some pros have started running Cariel Roame instead.

Why even play Kazakus in a deck like this in the first place ? Makes no sense.

because its really good tempo in a minion heavy build early game, and good value later on when you run outta steam or you are losing board control

If you have played Aldor Attendant it reduces Libram of Justice by 1 and so they become 4 cost and so will stop Kazakus activation to build a golem.
Hope this helps

Oh! Makes total sense. Haven’t thought of it. Thanks!
