I would personally make tickatus a mutual effect after corruption. Would make it less abusable in a control v. control matchup and could synergize with the new neeru archetype. Just an idea.
Mage + Paladin are the biggest threats right now in ladder guys.
1. I went up against a mage deck a few days ago, I was ahead on board (tickatus and 2 other minions) and had 4 cards in hand, while they had nothing and had to top deck. They topdecked a 1-mana Sprint, used it, played Solarian Prime, got Apexis Blast from one of the random spells, it hit one of my minions and killed it, and then somehow they developed 3 minions on their board, destroyed one of my minions, and ended up with a secret and 8 cards in their hand. I don't remember the exact sequencing, but I just know it's a bunch of random spells casted on me.
Again, THEY TOP DECKED AND GOT MORE THAN 10 CARDS IN HAND/BOARD COMBINED with a single draw... I haven't played hearthstone since that game because I knew If I ever played against a mage, something like that could happen.
2. Paladin has taken over the crown as king of aggro and I have no problem with that, but I feel like their weapon is too strong; Sword of the Fallen should be 4-mana, 1/4 instead of 2-mana 1/3. Giving it that extra durability is actually a buff, but making it cost 2 more mana is going to be nice to slow them down. Think about it, at 4-mana 1/4, it's a combination of 3 secrets and a light's justice put together, that's actually fair.
3. Incanter's Flow should be 4 mana. Seriously, I'm surprised that not a lot of people are talking about this card at all...
4. Deck of Lunacy. I don't know what they'll do to this card, but as long as it is what it is... I don't think I'm going to enjoy this game.
Cards that shouldn't be nerfed (whatsoever) would be Pen Flinger, Refreshing Spring Water, and Tickatus.
I know Pen Fling can be annoying to some people, but it's just 1 damage for 1 mana, like, come on guys...
Refreshing Spring Water is pretty much a pot of greed for spell mages, 0-mana draw 2, but it's only good if spell mages are good. So, if incanter's flow and deck of lunacy were nerfed..? Iunno how many ppl would even play spell mages anymore.
Tickatus? I remember this card used to be cost 5-mana, and it was pretty broken, at 6? You gotta play some pretty big stuff to corrupt this and then wait super late to find Y'sharj and mill your opponent again, but that's soooo slow. Requires such an awkward set-up of cards and even if you use it, all you're doing it milling them. It's only good against heavy control, but against Aggro, tickatus is extremely garbage. It's also hard for me to imagine the same card getting nerfed twice within 2 years.
I have went to standard to see what is it all about and those lunacy mages are insane. The deck didnt worked for me, because my lunacy is always in the last 10 cards. My Solarians are pretty crappy too, casting two DoL when I'm decked.
With paladins, Oh my Yogg is really oppressive card, like counterspell. It is really protecting their board bit too much and the boards they have (even with wild with 4 mana spell that summons 3 mana≤2 minions). Weapon is very strong to thin deck by 3 starting turn 2. I would personally try 2/1/2 weapon at first. 4/1/4 would be probably way too weak and slow.
Incanters flow is sometimes really very powerful... but with the draw Mages has, Refreshing spring water is way too good too... Mozaki wild Mage has combo by turn 6 pretty often.
Since when was Tickatus 5 mana? I won't support cards that just destroy your opponents card, so you can cheese wins by deleting your opponents cards. (same for mill rogue). Make it burn both players decks when corrupted.

"Minion to minion the basic of all combats, only a fool trusts his win to an OTK"
I am seriously tired of Crabrider as well. He is a better 2-mana Flying Machine, and is too easy to abuse with buffs and Call to Arms. If he stays like this, he will always limit design space.
At least cut 1 health from this bad boy, even a sledgehammer nerf to 3 mana would be fine in my book.
My mistake, tickatus wasn't nerfed before. But still, it's too weak against aggro from my experience, it doesn't pose a big threat to them.
And sure, destroying your opponent's cards can be annoying, but again, it's slow because you have to corrupt it first and then play it the next turn. It doesn't affect most aggro decks whatsoever. They won't care if you mill them. But I understand why the card can be annoying.
Nerfing Pen Isgrinder makes total sense. It is most played card in all decks at this moment. It has effect like legendary minion yet it costs 1 mana. It is too powerful in decks which are already too powerful even without Grinder. It is mind blowing that they marked it as common card. Design fail in tier of old good Quest Rogue. Turn 5 board full of 5/5 divine shields.
Penflinger wording doesn't make sense but it is a good nerf suggestion.
By the way there is a common error in all people's suggestions which is "not trying to kill the cards" But why? there are tons of useless cards out there and there are more that doesn't see play because of powercreep cards. What makes those powercreep cards special?

Yes, it should be about not killing (healthy) archetypes, and not cards.
Deck of Lunacy isn't about power creep, it wasn't a problem before in any format for well known reasons.

Deck of Lunacy is one of those cards that people can't deal with. And with Incanter's Flow and a bunch of draw spells? It's pretty much over. They are spamming these big spells that's reduced by 3 mana than their original cost, but that's only if they're playable. Granted, there are some spells that aren't playable in a no minion deck, so there's a pretty big RNG factor as far as what spells you end up getting. 75% of the spells you get randomly, are playable I'd say. For them to be reduced any further is where the problem is, I've seen someone play a 1 mana sprint before, it's extremely tilting. Not only Lunacy, but incanter's flow is a problem as well. I think if they up'd it to 4-mana OR change to text to reduce spells in your "hand" by (1), itd be fair.
I hate when hearthstone turns into rock/paper/scissors. Tickatus is the exact type of card that turns your games into rock/paper/scissors. It's trash against aggro and destroys control/combo especially C'thun. I think it should be nerfed to make the card more skill oriented vs the current luck oriented version.
6 mana 4/6 with taunt
Battlecry: Shuffle X cards from your hand into your deck
Corrupt: Shuffle X cards from your opponents hand into their deck.
Shuffling X cards from opponent's hand into their deck is a really good idea for Tickatus. It fits with the spirit of a control deck and would make the card useful against aggro.
Pen Flinger is played my two classes and is not a power card in any one of them. Then yeah... dont need a nerf.
Tickatus is a bad card so... it would not be nerfed.
1.Pen flinger is used in 2/3 classes that are being played.
2.That single card is able to deal more then a pyroblast during the course of the game
3. It fills your mana curve even in bad turns, making you have no weak turns at all
4. It cant be distracted or interacted with. There is no way for opponent to destroy that card, except for warlock.
5. And worst of all, it makes your opponent sit and watch you play it over and over again every turn, making turns extremely long and unfun.
Are these enough reasons for you? This card is basically a neutral raza priest...
There are 2 decks that abuse Pen Flinger. Libram paladin who takes advantage of multiple 0-cost librams and aggressive weapon rogue decks that run a very low curve with a ton of cheap spells and use pen flingers to fill their mana curve. The latter deck is not even that popular. Miracle Rogue is also running Pen Flinger, but primarily to either target their own Efficient Octobot or to get some cheap draw with Field Contact. However this deck doesn't have too many spells to really abuse Pen Flinger, making it only slightly better than an Elven Archer most of the time. The other decks that see quite some play (Mages, Warlocks, Priests, Aggro Paladin) don't run the card at all.
Even if it casts a total of 2 Pyroblasts over the duration of the game, the player who does that pays 20 mana for it. Spending 1 mana to deal 1 damage is not an efficient use of mana in many cases.
Actually instead of filling the mana curve in 'bad' turns I have seen the card leading to badly played turns where for example some paladin player will play Pen Flinger face into First Day of School into an 1-drop at 2 mana, instead of developing more tempo. This is not the card's fault of course, but it is some evidence that Pen Flinger is a relatively high-skill cap card and not everyone understands when you should spend 1 mana to deal 1 damage rather than actually playing your cards
Leading to long turns is quite annoying indeed, a fix in its animation is the primary nerf it needs

Very nice work, I wish they could take up some of ur ideas tho definately not all
Its played in two classes (in 15% of decks, its not most played card)... its not 'played too much".
Yeah Crabrider been pretty annoying too, removing board and leaving him up results in very unpleasant experience.

Yeah its a good (not power card in any of those 2 classes). Thats your point to nerf? Then we should nerf more cards that are playable.
Some of these posts here are unbelievably dumb! Seems people, who play this deck try to dodge nerfs to keep their dumbery.
tickatus dont opress control decks.
Penflinger is not good- then why do those classes play it. Those comments are so hardcore dumb
Springwater is compared to the "weapon" draw card
Pen Flinger does make sense for sure, I highly expect this to be one of the official nerfs announced any time now.
Murlocs need so tuning too...
Lushwater Scout gives SUMMONED murlocs +1 attack and rush for 1/3 it is too strong
Crabrider needs to go down to 3 health, with Toxfin is way too strong of a board control for zoo type deck
Underbelly Angler to 2/2/2
