So, this is apparently a thing and I don't understand why this works the way it does. So whenever you populate your deck with bears from Ticket Master and then eventually cast Secret Passage, the bears you draw end up in your hand and they are NOT cast onto the board. But hey, when there is an enemy Far Watch Post on the board, and you cast Secret Passage, the cards you draw end up being 1+ mana? Why does it work this way? It seems oddly inconsistent unless I'm totally missing something.
Similar thing happens when you draw Mankriks dead wife...sits in your hand, you cast it for free but it actually does nothing which is even more meh.
Yeah. I don‘t understand either. I don’t know the exact wording in english of secret passage, but I‘m from germany and secret passage says something like „swap you hand with 4 cards from your deck“ in german. So i think that „swap“ is not „draw“ in relation to the tickets, but i also think, that the watchpost is coded in some way like „everytime you opponent gets a card from his deck to his hand increase cost +1“. I hope you understand what i‘m saying. And Mankriks Wife? Damn. She‘s dead. That‘s why you can‘t cast her. *badumts #badjoke sorry.

Loool about mankriks wife. And yeah probably right, but that's not really implicit to the wording of the card. If the interactions are intended the way I described, I'd like to hear blizzard comment on it. As it stands now... it just doesn't make sense.
Both far watch post and mankrik’s wife are confirmed bugs. Mankrik’s wife is supposed to be a castable 3-cost spell in that situation, and secret passage doesn’t count as drawing cards so watch post shouldn’t trigger.
I mean I understand the wording is different, I also understand that visually and thematically the cards come from the secret passage and not directly from your deck, but what's the actual difference in the way the card is coded ? It sure seems like it's just drawing 4 cards from your deck with a shiny animation, like The Soularium
The difference is simple: If you draw cards, you can keep them. Secret passage doesn't let you keep them so you didn't really draw them, you just lend them, you give your hand away for this turn and replace it. That's why it's not considered as drawing cards, and I think it fits perfectly into the "secret passage" feeling, it's happening under the radar.

Is this actually a bug or is it intended?
Far Watch Post is the bugged interaction if Secret Passage is Replace not Draw then Far Watch should not go off.

So how does secret passage work exactly ?
