As I understand this card, any time your opponent draws a card on their turn, after their initial draw, it will become a banana. So you would imagine that against a warlock, this should trigger quite easily.
The game went on, many turns later, warlock is tapping and using other card draw spells... and nothing has happened. I thought there must be some reason why it hasn't procced yet. Am I an idiot?
Now, it's getting close to the end of the game, and suddenly, randomly, the warlock taps and Shenanigans activates, banana-ing something. My opponent concedes and the game ends, I guess an important card got transformed.
But what the heck happened here? Why did it not happen right away, and then later on it happened seemingly without a reason? Unfortunately, I was playing on mobile so I don't have the replay to watch and check.
It has to do with soul fragments, if one went off during that turn before the second draw, the whole turn is rendered impossible to banana i believe. I still don’t quite understand the process and would love to hear it properly from someone else.

I suppose it must have been the soul shards. The warlock did draw quite a few of them over the course of the game. It seems unlikely that every turn he tapped and drew, he also draw a soul shard first, but maybe he did.
I wish I had the replay to check it.
I guess that means any "cast when drawn" cards would also be immune to banana transformations.
Only somewhat related, but it really bugs me that we can't see what card got transformed into a banana when the secret triggers
Yes, i wouldnt run the Secret if i dont know what Card got Bananad because it does not help me enough knowing a random card got Bananad, like even Demonic Project makes you know what card from opponent got transformed into a Demon... why not the Banana one?

I agree that it would be more fun to play this card if you saw what they lost. It's a tiny bit of information that helps plan for later on in the game, I don't think it's too much to ask.
I've also seen this card used to counter a card that was tutored out and even if you don't know specifically what card it was, you can usually take a good guess with those.
For example, I watched a video where a rogue in wild used Cavern Shinyfinder to (most likely) pull his Kingsbane. And, well, not much he can do after that... pretty funny stuff.

Hey all,
I was playing a match yesterday using a janky galakrond rogue deck versus a something warlock.
During the game, I was able to find a Ring Toss off of Wand Thief, and I casted it to get Shenanigans on my side.

Any ideas?

It might have been a soul shard that triggered the secret and thus bugged it until it went off randomly.
