We are losing a ton of iconic cards, I hope we don't miss them too much.
Warlock losing all its trash cards and getting a strong core set feels great though, I always hated the "warlock get the worst cards" policy, i'm glad Blizzard is done with it.
This is at least your third "RIP Shaman" post I've seen. I think you've gotten your point across.
A "point" that no one has any basis to judge yet, not knowing how tough the meta will or won't be after rotation. Seriously, dude, Shaman got some cool stuff, unless your Shamans are 100% bloodlust-based you are spewing hot air.

And this is coming from a fellow Shaman main.
Shaman got some already very good cards buffed. What they lose is only half the story...

I think you got me wrong and I don't feel like getting into a debate war over this. You can throw your assumptions around I don't care, but you seem to have a hate boner with what I say so no I don't want to agree with you.

This is my sentiment, too. Really iconic cards leaving play.
But I'm excited to see what kind of new stuff can be created in standard with the change up.
And the fact that so many classes are losing "direct damage", makes it feel like matches will be more controlly and focus on board state more than just hitting your opponent as fast as possible.
Here’s what I don’t like. They’re basically getting rid of most of the removal, leaving the meta to be filled with Aggro or other huge minions that people will struggle to get rid of.
Paladin has almost zero draw power now (drawing cards should be available to ALL classes, it’s not a “theme”), so they will lack consistency.
Mage is already underpowered with no way to heal in their class and only one form of armor gain and will lose a lot of valuable removal spells (the thing they’re supposed to be good at) like Blizzard, Frostbolt, Flame Ward, Polymorph (how does Shaman get to keep Hex but Mage can’t keep theirs?), Rolling Fireball, and The Amazing Reno Hero Card.
Shaman also loses a ton of removal, mainly due to rotation of oldest sets. They will lose Hagatha’s Scheme, Earthquake, and most of their healing. Dunk Tank is highly situational and doesn’t clear big minions much. The only good removal spell they have is Landslide, which has to be themed around spell damage to be good.
Hope you guys like Boggspine Knuckles/Phase Stalker/Librarian/Treants/Murlocs/DH with no way to get rid of them with 90% of all removal gone from the game
Priest lost both silence spells. So now priest has one legendary minion more than every other class for silence, unless they silence their own minions which has never been that good a tactic.
One thing to notice is that alot of the burst cards got removed, a huge hit to Burn and Aggro decks. Control is looking viable again
You're right that a lot of those things got removed, but I don't know how much that affects Control in general. Control is already viable IMO, just not in very diverse ways, but I think that's because Tickatus and Priest dominate other Control so hard.

They have inner will too, but... it's 1 mana and gives the card a little buff. Which is... maybe worth it in a silence deck, but otherwise I think people will stick to the Nameless One.

They're specifically getting rid of hard removal and silences. Every class more or less has one midrange AoE spell. Shaman will still have Stormstrike, Torrent and Serpentshrine Portal for early game removal. Lightning Storm is perfect against Murlocs, Treants, most of the Evolve Shaman tokens & DH aggro stuff and pretty much so is an active landslide and Shattered Rumbler. And Phase Stalker is rotating.
Mage still has Brain Freeze, Cold Snap, Combustion, Firebrand, Cone of Cold, Glacial Racer. Like they've been adding a lot of unique/interesting removal options for the past year, but no one's been using them because the existing options were either more versatile (Frostbolt vs. Combustion) or were just easier to use. There's just an oversaturation of options.

Huge buff to Warlock and Paladin. R.I.P shaman.

Do these cards remain "Basic" and "Classic" in the collection.
I noticed they're currently still listed that way... https://playhearthstone.com/en-us/cards?set=wild&sort=name
Will that still be the case when the new expac. drops? Thanks.
"There is no spoon"
It's okay, we can always watch Hobbs or Dane do wacky things with it. Plus it's in classic mode!
No, they'll be "Legacy Set" in the Collection.

I wonder why “core” hound didn’t make the cut
