They should make the effect a Deathrattle instead of a Battlecry. Even then, it is still good with late-game synergies but a lot slower and probably much fairer.
Cthun is a perfect win condition for control decks, but they can’t run him because of control lock. Your advice is pretty lame. You’re telling people to just play a different deck, as if that “solution” isn’t indicative of the problem everyone is complaining about.
So, it's fair when you run C'thun against me and I can't do anything about it, just wait until you draw your entire deck and nuke my face with 30 damage, but it's also unfair when I run card, that MIGHT (it's not guaranteed though) disrupt your plan and let me win otherwise unwinnable matchup?

Make Tickatus neutral and then it is fair that any class can distrupt opponent's deck. Anyway combo decks in HS are pretty stupid anyway, but they are here so there is need some distruption even though most cards suck anyway at it.

I have had now matchup with Renolock who Brann Tickatused my deck. I would be able to have a chance of winning but sorry my man, removing 10 from my deck is not "Well if your win condition is in this...." bla bla. 10 cards is third of my deck!
And you know what is the most retarded thing about this? Renolock or Warlocks where they play Tickatus are greasy greedy decks full of value cards themselves. So you can have fighting chance but I not? So options:
1. Nerf Tickatus to the ground so it is unplayable (8+ mana)
2. Make Tickatus burn your deck as well but with corrupt it does to opponent too (best change I would say)
3. Make Tickatus deathrattle
4. Make Tickatus neutral! Stop giving specific effects to only one class. This happened with transform and devolve effects. Shamans and Mages have loads of them why other classes are like alright you can have that 10/10 deathrattle. This would give all classes of having chance to disrupt combo, destroy value and it would be fun seeing who puts him in a deck.

This card is terrible and ruins the game for me. Why o why Blizzard. When it gets played I just resign the game and then do not play again for a few days. Terrible card Blizzard!

This is a horrible card and I am no longer playing on ladder until it is changed or removed. I’ll stick with battlegrounds it’s pretty fun.

Pulse check: It's May 6th, 2021.
Since Tickatus was released, (November 17th, 2020) I can still count the number of times this card has completely ruined a game for me on one hand.
Not every game where it is played once (or twice) has been a loss, but sometimes you just get got... same as when you play against aggro.
The voting on this thread still seems to suggest the community is evenly divided on this card. But I still think it's just not that bad.
