Please, no captain obviouses, who are explaining a buggy card. When the card gets played you can _clearly_ see, its a 2/2 card with 1 mana cost. 100% a bug. Regarding to card text AND card description when its played it should be a 6/6.
If you got mercy with team 5 incompetence, it could be a 8/8 if you THINK its ok edwin keeps his buff after shadowstep, but in fact he keeps his buffs AND gets buffed by shadowstep AND coin, AND edwin himself. 100% a bug.
gains +2/+2 for every card played during the turn before and after you play it so if you return it in hand and play it again, it gets more buffs if you do edwin, shadowstep, edwin - you summon a 2/2, you return it in hand, then you summon a 6/6 in this case, the enemy player played 1 card, then edwin, resulting in a 4/4 edwin, then returned him in hand with shadowstep, then played all the coins (probably added with the 4 cost 3/3 that adds three coins to your hand in a previous turn), then summoned edwin which resulted in a 14/14 edwin
your lack of card text comprehension and the jumping into conclusions is beyond . . . eeeh bad
The only bug is with your reading comprehension. Read what the card does again, this time slowly and carefully. And learn how battlecries work.
Look at the screenshot kiddo. "gets +2/+2 for every card played _*THIS*_ round. And you can clearly see, mana cost is reduced and stats are 2/2. Like i said, if you are cpt. obvious, just shut the fuck up. Thank you.
First Edwin, thats +2/+2, then the next spell, thats +2/+2, then the next spell thats +2/+2 then shadow step thats +2/+2 then coin thats +2/+2 then EDWIN again +2/+2. Original stats 2/2 + 2/2 (Edwin) + 2/2 (Spell) + 2/2 (Spell) + 2/2 (Spell) + 2/2 (Spell) + 2/2 (Edwin) = 14/14 :P
There's a prep and a swindle in the sidebar of the screenshot you posted. And you didn't mention the Foxy Fraud which I'm assuming he also played this turn.
Foxy Fraud (1), Edwin (2), Prep (3), Swindle (4), Shadowstep (5), Coin (6), Edwin gives +2/+2 per card played before him with 6 cards played that is 6*2 = 12 so Edwin is a 2/2 with +12/+12= 14/14.
You own screenshot disagrees with your description. Look at those cards played on the left there. The mana cost is decreased by 2 because of the Shadow Step. All those cards together result in a 14/14 Edwin
It states: "for every OTHER card". Also @Rino the first Edwin was from the round before that round where he "shadow step, coin and edwin"ed.
There was a 4/4 Ediwn, Then a shadowstep, a coin and edwin. -> 14/14 It just happend, that i just did nothing as a priest in my round.
Why would he coin if all he's done that turn is play a shadowstep? You're confused about the sequence of events here. The screenshot clearly shows Edwin, Prep, Swindle, Shadowstep, Coin, and Edwin being re-played. That's at least 12/12. The last 2/2 is the only thing in question here and whatever made Edwin a 4/4 to begin with in your story explains that away. Stop claiming its a bug and look at what people are telling you. Its all right there in your screenshot.
Dude his play was definitely Foxy Fraud + Edwin + prep + swindle + shadowstep + coin + edwin on the same turn for a 14/14 edwin. The history bar shows it all. What are you talking about?

I just clicked "next round" in between. Like i said, he had a 4/4, shadow steped, coined and edwined it to a 14/14. EVEN IF it was like you claim, then the card text is totally WRONG. It says: for every OTHER card. For EVERY OTHER card it would be +8/+8 and if you take his 2/2 it would be 10/10. Or if you think its ok that he keeps his stats after shadowstep, it would be 12/12. But not 14/14.
"Erhält +2/+2 für jede _ANDERE_ Karte, die Ihr in diesem Zug..." Gets +2/+2 for every OTHER card played _THIS_ round.

I said, he used shadowstep, coin, edwin. Just look at my first post. It seems you are the confused here.
If its true that you hit next turn without healing yourself and he shadowstepped his Edwin without attacking then you're both idiots and should just delete your accounts. Move on to something simpler. This game is too hard for you.
You're either wrong about the sequence of events or trolling.
No matter how many times you'll explain it to him, he won't understand. So you may as well give up.
I mean, we all know what happened. Just one look at the screenshot and it's obvious. He had 3 mana so with a Shadowstep and a Coin he was able to replay the Edwin and it would indeed result in a 14/14 Edwin as 6 cards before him have been played. This is all very obvious to the rest of us. And there was no "round inbetween" as OP claims, as you can again, very clearly see in the screenshot.
Dude his play was definitely Foxy Fraud + Edwin + prep + swindle + shadowstep + coin + edwin on the same turn for a 14/14 edwin. The history bar shows it all. What are you talking about?
Even if - and i just advanced a round while not playing anything -, it states "for every OTHER card". Your calculation is 10+2=12 and not 14 So either this is a huge translation fuckup or just a plain logical error.

The card reads "every other card" not "every other card except Edwin" so the wording is fine. You can play edwin + shadowstep + edwin + shadowstep + edwin and you get a 10/10 edwin because you played 4 other cards except this one (the last edwin played). It makes perfect sense. If it wouldn't say "other cards" then it would count himself for an extra +2/+2.
NME: 4/4 ediwn
shadowstep, coin, edwin
14/14

no it should not. lol. this is the dumbest thread I've seen in years
Screenshot proof? Or youre just halucinating
gains +2/+2 for every card played during the turn

Kiddo wants screen, kiddo gets screen.

The poster above you explained it to you as simply as possible. but if you still have difficulty understanding, I'm afraid there's no helping you.
Not to mention English is not your first language, so no wonder you're confused.
Either way this thread is pointless and stupid.
