No-one talked about nerfing DH again, so here I am. Soul DH is insane right now. Ammount of damage from hero attacks is very high. There are turns, where DH is able to deal 10 to 12 dmg at face. Srsly, what classes can sustain 24 dmg dealt in 2 turns, when DH has a ability to pass through taunts with Kayn Sunfury.
On it's own it isn't that problematic in some matchups, but are 3 cards (actually 5) that cause DH to be a great class against all types of decks.
Twin Slice - 2 mana deal 4 dmg. It has a lot of flexibility and quite good value for it's mana cost.
Soulshard Lapidary - a 5/5/5 that deals 5 dmg. It can easly kill enemies 4 or 5 mana drop.
Blade Dance - When combined with other cards it can remove 3 big minions from the board. As I druid I had a board of 6 that werre at least 8/9 taunts and my enemy already used Kayn Sunfury. Gues what! Blade Dance x2 killed all of them and I got 14 lethal dmg on my face (mana dicsounts from Skull of Gul'dan included).
Isn't a bit too strong? I would like to see some nerfs, especially to Twin Slice. Mb make this card 1 mana +3 attack or 1 mana +2 attack and give second slice, but you can attack minions only this turn? Let me know what you think.
So damage output from DH is crazy. But there still is a problem - healing. Probably the most offensive class in the game can heal very easly with Aldrachi Warblades and Soul Fragment. It makes sense, cause he needs to sustain attacking minions. But do you know what's cool? If you have Aldrachi Warblades you can double you 10-14 dmg if you play Il'gynoth. Was it even tested properly? As I hunter i would lose against DH when I was at 26 hp, but randomly generated Misdirection saved me/
Let's sum it up. We've got crazy dmg, nice board clears, cheap ways to get rid of taunts and healing. Isn't to strong in a single deck? Mb you've got some ideas for DH nerfs, cause they are very needed IMO.
This class ruined the game, at least in Standard. I've literally quit standard because I just can't stand running into DH at all. In wild, if the rarity occurs, I usually auto-concede since nothing I do against them matters at all.

Pure Paladin is good against DH and other decks (66% winrate against soul DH). Also Clown Druid does well (smth arround 58%). I was able to climb legend from diamong 3 to legend with him
Blade Dance is hilariously busted for it's mana cost, I'd like to see some damage reduction too in some way on DH. Twin Slice is probably the best starting candidate making the second slice weaker.
a solid way to beat demon hunter that works is playing control shaman with all the heals and removal spells, basically you just remove their cards the entire game and use the heals to have a decent health pool you feel safe at till they are out of resources
only works vs "midrange" and aggro demon hunters, the new otk demon hunter you got no chance versus
Blade dance could also be changed to "deal your weapons attack to 3 minions", then at least it can't be stupidly and easily buffed (hero attack =/= weapon attack).
All of this misses the point that one of the main issues is that the card draw allows them to have all the combo pieces all of the time and never run out of steam until they literally run out of cards. These are often 3 card+ combos - try pulling something like that off in priest and you'll see the issue.
Just played a game against a dh, healed myself about 15, was at 30 life. he had already played both Marrowslicer, a soulshard and a twin slice. Without a minon on board i was still dead in 2 Turns. Simply a fucking joke this class

You have to get all of the cards in your hand to deal that much damage. That's just like any other OTK combo.
Blade Dance is like a multicard Brawl. Actually tougher to pull off.
Regarding getting all the cards, yes. Yes, you are correct. However, no combo deck in the history of HS could draw as fast as DH. DH gets to play aggro as if it was combo and that’s just crazy.
regarding blade dance, no. It doesn’t harm your minions and in DH, where card draw is infinite, it’s basically as easy to buff your hero’s attack and play BD as it is to just draw and play brawl in warrior.
The problem with DH. You cannot interact with any of the decks. They have silence draw a card. Mana burn lol. Anyway, take away a lot of the draw mechanics from certain cards and I would be happy. Plus change the deal damage to three minions to deal damage to enemy minions. Or just delete the class.

The new 3/2 weapon should also be 2 mana 2/2.
Blade dance: next attack damage adjacent minions or consumes your attack.
Metamorphosis 3 mana 3 dmg dmg doubled to minions tripled against demons.

I think they should either remove Aldrachi Warblades, remove Blade Dance or reduce attack buffs.

you should play soul DH and know their mindset and curves. weaknesses are
1. its EZ to bait them becuz they have few removals and comebacks
2. an efficient Blade Dance in early turns is almost impossible.
3.once they play thier 1 mana or 2 mana Soul generators never go all in cuz 3 mana AoE is the follow up
but if they don't any aggro decks can farm Soul DH.
i suggest a Heavy burn deck like Burn shaman or burn Face hunter or DH with so much from hand dmg
an aggro deck that manages resources efficiently can beat them
4. also Druid with big taunts is favoured but should manages resources proprely and both new armor spells must be included.

Blade Dance needs to change. I would argue that you either blade dance or attack with your hero on a given turn but not both.
