1. When you first get your initial cards and you choose the cards you want to discard, to they get placed back in the deck with the chance to get them again?
2. When you heal a minion, can you over heal it's current health to give it more health than original or just back to original max levels?
2.A minion is "healed" when the card text says "Restore X health to a minion," with Restore being the keyword that means heal. An example of this is Circle of Healing. When health is Restored to a minion, it cannot exceed the minion's maximum health. However, a minion's maximum health can be increased by means of a card such as Young Priestess. In initially reading this card, you might think of it as a heal, but what is actually happening is that the minion is given +1 maximum health, and then Restored 1 health, so its health pool increases by 1, exceeding it's maximum health if it was already at full health.
I have one more additional question regarding to this topic. Just to be sure :
If there is a any minion - let's for example say Shado-Pan Monk - 2/2 and then you use card like Power Word: Shield and make it 2/5. Then you get 4 damage during the attack so you are 2/1 and then you are healed by card like Circle of Healing : => please confirm that after all this Shado-Pan Monk is again 2/5 (not 2/2) - it's like I suppose... but I just want to be sure about it. Thank you!
Power Word: Shield and other cards like it increase maximum health so if they take dmg you can still heal them back up to the buffed health. If they have enrage they will still have enrage until they are healed to buffed health. On a side note Shado-Pan Monk is a mission card that probably Lorewalker Cho will use, so it's not a card we can have.
Thank you for this confirmation angelcrest ! It's quite logical in fact :) And about Shado-Pan Monk I just needed any minion as example so I picked first standard with 2/2 I found ;) bad luck ;)
It doubles their current health. I'm unsure what their new maximum health becomes though. I think this new, doubled health becomes the minion's new maximum health as well. Maybe someone else can confirm this.
I always assumed it doubles the current and maximum life so if there is 5 health minion that took 1 dmg you divine spirit it, it becomes a 8 health but you can heal it for 2 and make it 10 health. I cannot confirm this though. I am possitive that if an undamaged buffed minion is divine spirited you double the max buffed health.
Since I seem to be full of questions regarding the Priest deck, here's another:
Why is there no Power Word: Fortitude?? Something that can buff the health of all current Minions. Was an important spell in Warcraft. I think I saw that mages have Arcane Intellect.
Priest ability, Fade - if this card is activated on more than 1 minion, how does the attack of enemy minions place priority on which friendly minion has the primary taunt priority? Basically when their minions attack, and more than 1 friendly minion has taunt, how do they know which to attack first?
you choose which minion you want to attack without taunt, you do the same with taunt only your choice has to be one of the taunt minions. Think of it as green and red. Red means you can't attack the minion green means you can. without a tautn minion all your minions and yourself are green. If there is even one tautn minion everything else that has taunt is also green, but anything without taunt is red. So if there are two taunt minions you can attack whichever you want, but you can't attack anything other than those.
Thanks. That makes sense. I thought the enemy would just any minion that had taunt at random if you had more than 1 minion on the board with taunt for that turn.

2 quick questions.

2. When you heal a minion, can you over heal it's current health to give it more health than original or just back to original max levels?

1. They get placed back into your deck
2. If the affix says "Restore X health" it will not go over it's max hp, "Give minion X health" can increase minions health above it's max health
1. Yes, they are called "Mulligans."
2.A minion is "healed" when the card text says "Restore X health to a minion," with Restore being the keyword that means heal. An example of this is Circle of Healing. When health is Restored to a minion, it cannot exceed the minion's maximum health.

1. They are set aside when drawing the mulligan cards, so you can't redraw the same cards, after the mulligan they are reshuffled into your deck.

Follow up for a Priest ability.
Divine Spirit. Does that double the current health, the original health, or the max buffed health?

There was prayer of fortitude some time ago but it got replaced by inner fire. It was a 1 cost that gave +1/+1 to all firendly minions.
