The problem with DH is that it is good at everything: face damage, minion pressure, removal, card draw, board clear, healing, insane tempo, weapons, Silence/ignoring Taunt etc. Some classes like Shaman struggle at even one of these. I think the biggest offenders are Aldrachi Warblades and Blade Dance; the main healing engine and the main board clear.
I just played against it while playing warlock , built a massive board full of taunts and he played both marrow slicer and the pirate weapon bring back and one soul shard lapiddary before just for me to end up being killed by him playing kayn and completely ignoring my board , doesn t seem fun to me , I rather prefer to lose to paladin after they play libram of justice plus concecrate than to kayn....
Fun and interactive class.
Totally agree , I know there are a lot of unfun and without interaction decks like former turtle mage etc but like it was manageable and by that I mean not op ( maybe in wild but not in standart ) and it was nerfed while demon hunter goes unseen , seems odd that blizzard prefers to nerf fun stuff ( again in standart ) rather than opressive , unfun and OP stuff.
If you put a taunt in front of DH turn after turn, eventually they will have to start swinging into them. They take damage to remove your board and you stay alive that much longer. Their super cheating silence/ignore taunt stuff is limited.
I feel like the issue is that people don't play a lot of taunts, so when you do drop one, they have their answer to it ready to go and it feels bad. Or if you don't play any taunts, then you're just on a clock, like playing against Face Hunter.
I think if the problem is prevalent and we're seeing too many of these decks, it's justifiable to tech in one or two weapon removals or sticky taunts to try and get an edge. It will probably help more in general than it will hurt your other matchups.

I summoned 2 khartut defenders and 2 bonewraiths and 2 enhanced dreadlords and 1 scrapyard colossus in one match up and still lost , how many more taunts to exactly need ? xd
I don't think DH needs another nerf right now. I don't much care for the class' style but I think as of right now it feels strong but not overpowered. I actually feel paladin is way more scary right now and annoying because it feels like they never run out of ammunition.
The main issue with DH as I see it is the excessive card draw that allows all the combo's to be consistently used game after game, and gives the decks pretty much endless steam - cough Skull of Gul'dan cough - sometimes with extra mana reductions too! I wonder how they'll manage to balance it as they release new expansions becuase I think they've put themselves in a a bit of a corner.
And to all the people who say that DH has no hard removal, while technically true, it misses the point that they currently dont need it. They have two decent silences (arguably one is the best in the game) and huge AoE and burst damage which pretty much do everything you would want hard removal for. Soulshard Lapidary is also stupidly overtuned given the ease with which the soul shards can be put in the deck.
While Soul DH is arguably one of the strongest decks in the current meta, it was some very clear weaknesses: no card/value generation (which in turn limits the total amount of burst output they can generate in a game) and little to no single-target removal. Which is why a couple of otherwise 'mediocre' decks have risen in popularity in the current meta: Quest Druid and Big Warrior counter Soul DH quite hard. Of course the fact the meta warps around the strengths and weaknesses of Soul DH shows once again that is a meta-defining deck. But the bottom line is: it has some strengths, it has some weaknesses, it crushes some decks, it is almost hopeless vs some others, overall it's not OP and there is no need to change something. Sure one could tone down a bit the stats of Soulshard Lapidary, but even that I think is unecessary
Broken beyond belief. It cant be balanced it should just be removed. I dont think anyone wanted a hyper-aggressive class, there is already hunter for that.
The only reason it doesn't carry a higher winrate is because of Blizz rigged matchmaking forcing loses.

What do you mean by rigged matchmakings ? Isnt it tottaly random ?

Games that involves randomness in gameplay (let's not even talk about packs) are never totally random and that's why games like HS are never treated like a skill games, like LOL or CS.
I feel like neutralizing its ludicrous card draw would "fix" this class. Anybody playing this and wiping the floors is running a lot of card-draw.
Everything is cheap in this class and always comes with combo effects, draw and give your character attack, draw and reduce cost, draw and silence a minion (outcast effect), draw a card for each minion that died this turn (illidari combo), this class has been out for 3 expansions and has 10 class-specific drawing cards...let's compare that to Shaman who has ONE (1) card-draw card that is class-specific.
Again--the card draw being reduced to the average card draw other classes have--would likely solve the demon hunter problem.
The main drawback with Aggro was supposed to be is that it should run out of gas eventually, but with DH that never seems to be the case.
Same problem with Hunter but it's not as bad. Whoever thought printing Voracious Reader was a good idea is a fucking idiot and how that card hasn't been nuked into orbit is beyond me.
Also giving an aggro class the ability to bypass taunt and reduce your opponents mana also seems equally fucking stupid
DH is an absolute cancer class, before you used to be able to at least beat them with control sometimes, now they have their new legendary that enables them to do 20+ damage in one turn with lifesteal weapon. The class is the worst thing to happen to the game, requires 0 brains to play, costs almost no dust, incentivizes braindead aggro players.
fuck yea it is!! fucking retarded how strong and insane it is now. ruining the fucking game honestly, when the win rate is fucking 70 percent and you face them fucking 4 out of 5 games

Well if it is, people sure seem to have forgotten that fact. Last 35 games I have only met 2 DH. EU legend ladder

Which Hunter also can use, again there is balance.
Hunters can play Kayn?
Oh, no, I confused him with Kreen, which is a dual class card.
As a priest main, I just Auto-concede.

Of course, but this is a terrible meta and thanks to clown druid and warlock you can't use control or midrange deck. So we need DH.

Take the loss and move on.your life is more valuable than complaining about fake op stuff.
