It could easily be a Shaman or a Warrior card with the same mechanic and I get the impression the complaint would remain the same.
I'd like to see the OP opinion on Star Student Stelina , which has the same look-at-3.
I don't know what OP thinks but I assume it counts for every cards where you see your opponents hand, in a card game that should not be possible. I personally am also not fond of cards that show you other players hand, I have a lot of secrets with my secret mage, I don't like it if someone sees them, for example mirror image, yeah play a lackey after you see it. Yes everyone knows to play accordingly when a secret is played but seeing a secret is something different.

Obviously Secrets lose a lot of value if the opponent knows what they are ahead of time, but the number of tools available to grant that information is extremely limited. Unless I'm mistaken, they're all class cards, too -- I can't think of a neutral that allows one player to see the other's hand in any capacity.
But that is not, in itself, sufficient reason to disallow scrying as a mechanic. Secrets lose some value when they're known, sure. But if your deck has multiple Secrets, as you say, there's no way for an opponent to know that the one they saw is the one you played. Fake them out. If you know they saw Mirror Image, wait a turn or two before playing a Secret, so that they don't know if it was the same one they saw. Then they test the Secret with their lackey and eat 5 damage to the face from your Explosive Runes.
I don't like when my minions get Silenced or Frozen. But you won't hear me saying that no one should be allowed to Silence or Freeze things, simply because it annoys me. That would be absurd. And those are much more widely-available (and impactful) mechanics than "someone might have seen part of my hand that might have contained a Secret that they might be able to play around slightly better now."
It's funny because Madame Lazul is primarily played by Priests for the value generation (get a copy of one of the 3 cards) and not so much for the information generation aspect (see 3 cards).

Totally different card wtf
Fun > Meta
He means that the effect involves looking at 3 of your opponent's cards (which is the same)

Then he should look at deck, not in hand
