Perhaps there is something about Ship's Cannon I am missing, but people keep playing it like I'm supposed to give a crap or something. I mean I expect them to start dropping pirates left and right but even in constructed that is not likely. Hobgoblin will be a card that spawns a bunch of whiny 'OMG Blizz plz nurf' threads here, as will Flamecannon. I personally love Hobgoblin because he sings the little 'Goblins & Gnomes' tune when he attacks.
just think about recombolbulator + bomb lobber or the 3/3 that heals you for 8. in a deck where you put costly minion for bad stats (due to their effect), this card will be a beast.
Yeah because that 3/3 will definitely survive at turn 5.
That's what I thought too, but so far in practice what happens is if they can't contest the Hobgoblin on turn 2/3 then you drop a bunch of minions and they never recover from the tempo loss.

Gazlowe (this guy is the new meta) Recombobulator mechanical YETI Lil EXorcist Fel Reaver
btw i see many ppl thinking clock giant wont be played much but hearthstone gives u unique ways to fill your opponent hand with cards so the clockwork giant will be there, trust me.. if something he will be the giant who will be dropped the earliest (if successful milling is done :D) together with Fel Reaver
I had a pretty even game with someone in arena, he played fel reaver, in two turns I discarded 15 cards from his deck, which obviously screw up the whole game for him.
Recombobulator and Spider Tank were 2 very high considerations for my most-played lists. Nearly any mech deck will practically require 2 copies of Spider Tank.
No one saying recombulator...... Sad that guy looks amazing.
I've seen first hand how devestating he is. Mind visioned a max tank off my opponent, played it, cut down it's health then thought wait... aren't minions at 8 mana mostly powerful legendaries? Sure enough traded my 7/2 tank out for gruul and single handedly won the game. It's crazy how powerful this guy is, if you have a high mana minion on the board you can use up all its health then trade it out for something that will in all likelihood be very powerful.
Like at 9 mana you're pretty guaranteed a fresh 8/8 at worst and the odds are in your favour to get a legendary with tasty text, are there even any non legendaries for 9 mana?
But then.... why not just run that 9 mana card to begin with?
This is going to seem like a very snide answer but... because it costs 9 mana. A 9 mana card and 2, 2 mana cards is almost the same value as 3 9 mana cards. Recombob will be useful on any minion with 4+ mana that is on low health, it's situational and RNG but it's still ungodly powerful. With giants too you have to think about, molten giant is the only minion that costs 20 mana, so if you recombob a molten giant you're guaranteed another molten giant. In fact if you recombob any giant you're guaranteed another giant of some kind or even better deathwing, (unless some weird thing happens where it recombobs based on the cost it's played at which I doubt, I think confirmed it's not true based on talk of sea giant recombob).

There will not be a legendary that will see more play than rares and commons because of the rarity of the card.

Time is money, friend.
Fel Reaver? How so?

Hello.
The only post from this thread with which I completely agree by the way.
