Which legendaries and rares do you think are likely to be good crafts? Which cards are you looking forward to crafting and playing with in the next few weeks?
Legendaries: Rogue/Mage Legendary: It fits in a good amount of decks including the tier 1/2 Highlander mage.
Also the Warrior/Rogue legendary that's buffs your weapon I forgot the name but it sees play in weapon rogue which is probably the best deck at the moment and sees play in some warrior builds
Epics: Secret passage: one of the best cards of the set, is in a tier 1 deck well every rogue deck for that matter, and it is very safe to say it might be getting nerfed so you won't lose anything by crafting it potentially.

My post-expansion crafts so far: two Secret Passage cards and Edwin VanCleef. Haven't been disappointed! Really enjoying playing Stealth Rogue and Weapon Rogue between D5 and D1.
I'll probably craft Jandice Barov, Doctor Krastinov and Soulciologist Malicia. I already crafted High Abbess Alura but i did it to experiment with Tempo Priest and it sucks hard. I mostly regret it because i have no intention of crafting Lady Liadrin as that card sees play in a single archetype and could fall off the meta in the blink of an eye with some changes. I got Disciplinarian Gandling from the Felosofy bundle and i also attempted a deathrattle shell for Tempo Priest but it doesn't matter. That decks doesn't work without card draw and Voracious Reader is really awkward in the archetype. Jandice is just a solid card and i could use it in any Rogue or Mage deck. Krastinov sees play in Bomb Warrior and i might attempt some silly shenanigans with Steeldancer. And i was really interested in the soul fragment package from the beggining so Malicia just makes sense for me.
In terms of epics, i already have the ones considered crucial (read broken) like Secret Passage. I'm considering Cabal Acolyte and one Fate Weaver but that's it.
Yeah, but no matter what he says DO NOT discenchant any legendaries from the latest expansion (ok maybe the Warlock one - Willow and Star Student Stelina)

Agree. It seems very early to be thinking about disenchanting any SA legendaries. Who knows, a card like Archwitch Willow might get support in a future expansion or adventure. These cards will still be in standard for another 19.5 months.
To be honest though bliz did a really good job this expac making sure every legendary was actually good and worth being excited about, both in wild and standard.

It's probably worth waiting for the new game mode before disenchanting any cards.

Sorry, the above should have read "legendaries and epics", not "legendaries and rares".

I would write more if I wasn't on my phone.
Keymaster Alabaster come faster
I opened 13 legendaries from the SA pre-expansion Mega Bundle, about 8,500 gold and the Felosophy Bundle: Ace Hunter Kreen, Speaker Gidra, Forest Warden Omu, Mozaki, Master Duelist, Lord Barov, High Abbess Alura, Turalyon, the Tenured, Mindrender Illucia, Infiltrator Lilian, Doctor Krastinov, Archwitch Willow, Rattlegore and Vectus.
Leaning towards crafting some of the following Year of the Phoenix legendaries: Jandice Barov for my rogue decks, Shan'do Wildclaw for druid and perhaps hunter in future, both Headmaster Kel'Thuzad and Lorekeeper Polkelt which seem fun, and Star Student Stelina and Soulciologist Malicia to keep my DH collection as complete as possible. Lady Liadrin is a tempting craft for playing paladin. Am I getting greedy?

Only SA epics I'm missing now are one Krolusk Barkstripper and one Enchanted Cauldron.

Rarran posted a legendary crafting guide for SA on YouTube earlier today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCFUTG9VKrs
I think Guardian Animals is the best card printed in this set when you consider the synergy that came with it (Lake Thresher, Twilight Runner, Teacher's Pet).
Seems like a safe bet to be in every single Druid deck for a long time.
Wait you guys wait ?
My opinion on the safest crafts from this expansion as it pertains to the next 2 years:
Lord Barov, Headmaster Kel'Thuzad,Forest Warden Omu,Soulcioligist Malicia,Lorekeeper Polkelt. The reason for these is that they either solidify, or create an archetype for the class to play for the next two years (for example Soul Fragment Warlock/DH or Malygos Druid).

I'd put money down on Lord Barov, Headmaster Kel'Thuzad,Lorekeeper Polkelt, Speaker Gidra, Ras Frostwhisper, Instructor Fireheart.
If evolution is outlawed, only outlaws will evolve.

Putting Mue aside, I think the safest of the safe crafts are Lorekeeper Polkelt (tons of decks), Janice Barov (Rogue and Mage seem to be constantly at least somewhere above tier 3), Sphere of Sapience (again tons of decks), Lord Barov, and maybe Ras Frostwhisper.

Crafted Jandice Barov for this tempo rogue deck: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1361387-sa-legend-83-tempo-rogue. Good fun, has potential, and a nice addition to the weapon and stealth rogue decks I'd been playing. Game on!
