Seems like every rogue has it in there deck, it's just that good.
Well its like preperation but for minions...
Its problematic when there are too powerful Battlecry minions avaible. Like we had with Nzoth. Suddenly Rogue was the best Control deck when they made endless Krathuts and whatnot.
I am 100% against nerfing classic and basic cards to the point that they are unplayable. Which is exactly what this nerf would make shadowstep.
It's fine as it is, rogue isn't in a dominant position at the moment and shadowstep has never been the reason behind nerf being OP in the past. This is just a salt post.
Ehh... it kinda sucks that it's such a staple card and I think the card could be a lot worse and still see play. I could maybe see it as a 1 mana, reduce the cost by 3 instead of what it is now, but I don't think that's necessary or anything.
The problem here isn't Shadowstep. It's that the Rogue classic set is very good, and many of those cards see play every rotation.
Other classes do not have such a strong classic set.
Blizzard really needs to rework the classic cards for all classes ala Priest.
What frustrates me about Shadowstep, backstab, VanCleef etc isn't that they're overpowered... it's that EVERY single Rogue deck includes them, and playing vs. Rogue in 2020 feels largely the same as it did in 2016, 2017, etc. (I wasn't playing before that, but Kibler ranted this summer that it feels the same as when Hearthstone took off initially.)

It's not even that, it's just Togwaggle right now. Getting triple Wand or even triple Zarog's is just too strong. It isn't that consistent but it feels bad to play against. Hell, I love playing as Rogue but it feels bad to drop that on someone too

any thoughts on this?
yes it should
minion bounced should be -1 not -2
Just HOF it.
The card was actually only decent before lackeys were introduced I’d wait until they rotate to see if it should get nerfed/hall of famed
go to salt thread
Keymaster Alabaster come faster

Yes keep it zero
Holly babe rage rogue isn’t as good as it is but let’s just obliterate it’s altogether. Go to the salt threads pls.

This is a secret salt thread of a Galakrond Rogue player that wants a better effect for more mana.
That would actually be sweet. What about 2 mana bounce reduce minion cost by 5. Some juicy big minion bounces.
I agree. Too good. Nerf the returned minion -1 instead of -2.
yep, let's continue to nerf the most nerfed class in the game that has less than 50% win-rate on average already
This space is intentionally blank.
Shadowstep is fine , the only time was problematic was in Prince Keleseth era pretty much and while we do have Zephrys the Great most Rogue decks were Galakrond.

No, and will always stay (0).
