People are trying to fit Glide into their old aggro lists, failing and coming here saying "ITS TRASH GUYS, DH WONT GO FACE WITH IT". This is not meant for the old aggro lists, it will spawn a NEW smorc based on the new Soul Fragment mechanic; super hyper agressive, with all minions costing 1 or 2 except Soulshard Lapidary and Kayn.
Play Glide after vomiting your hand then heal a ton with SF draws. You obviously want to be ahead on board before doing this, just be smart about when to use it and it should be great, stopping a turn to fuck your opponents hand while having board advantage should not be detrimental to the smorc plan.

Therein lies the problem with this card. It is SO restrictive in its use and even the right deck has to be careful about when to play it. The fact that this card only fits into one, nonexistent version of DH, and is only "great" in that deck and not game winning, really shows how overrated this card is. Conditionally great cards which are only great in one specific deck are usually not that good.

What you mean not game winning? You play this against priest/questlock/bomb control = gg. Making it more restrictive is a must since it buttfucks control so hard, imagine if you could just slap it in current aggro lists haha.
If what you say is true then Brann is a bad hunter card, cuz its conditional and only works in one specific deck..

Cuz it isn't. It just draws cards. Doesn't even get rid of the cards of decks you just mentioned, just slows them down. Well drawing cards slows yourself down. Against priest? one single card to wipe any tempo you gained from drawing cards and if they are holding cards in hand, it usually means they are not currently playable anyway, so you are just drawing them more potentially useful resources. Against quest lock? oh thank you, you just completed my quest faster. You really think questlock has a problem drawing cards? Gimme a break. Bomb control? Oh lets draw 4 cards and have 10 damage explode in your face. Sounds like a great plan. If control warrior was just hero powering against demon hunter, they'd lose anyway. Control. has. to. use. cards. This isn't 2017. Hero power pass isn't a good play for control. for every card you play as a demon hunter, its usually another card to respond to it, so card advantage will never be more than 4-6 cards, so in effect, you just make them swap their cards in hand with cards in their deck. Glide is ONLY "game winning" against combo decks, which aren't even a big part of the meta. How can you even compare it to Brann? I said "usually", didn't I? Brann wins games all the time because it actually hits face. Glide is just a way to generate resources and potentially subtract a few cards from the opponent's hand. Aggro demon hunter doesn't need more card draw. And honestly, even a hyper aggro version of demon hunter would rather run the new 2 drop jeeves than 4 mana do nothing in a lot of cases.

We must be playin two different games then, cuz the priests i play against LOVE to get extra cards early (disciple of galakrond, psychic conjurer, madame lazul, thoughtsteal), warrior loves tutoring weapons and pirates to prepare a skipper turn swing and questlock has 6+ cards by turn 4 even after using removals. Completing the quest faster means nothing for questlock when they die for lack of an specific board clear in hand, warrior w/o skipper combo in hand is not even a class, and imagine forcing the priest to waste the only draw they have on shit they generated instead of their actual cards? NUTTY.
Im not saying the Glide list will be better than the current aggro one, only time will tell, but will it be viable? Of that I have no doubt. If anything, it will be overplayed in any bracket where control is more popular (usually legend), and less played in diamond rank where theres more aggro.

There will be no board to clear since you just wasted 4 mana drawing cards. Irelevant argument. If they haven't played skipper combo by the time you dump your hand, is warrior even playing the game? Did they disconnect? Imagine priest still getting 5 cards back with glide + draw on next turn and still being able to generate more cards. Big whoop.

So you left out the "must have board advantage before playing this" requirement on purpose to try making a point? Ok then, guess this is going nowhere.. lets just agree to disagree. Gonna leave you a fair warning though, dont underestimate powerful hand disruption. Every single card that did this eventually got banned in every card game, and for good reason.
