A lot of control players are freaking out about Glide. They imagine their 10 card hand turning into a 4 card hand. You'll are forgetting what it actually does to Demon Hunter.
Demon hunter uses outcast cards and Altruis the Outcast in order to win the game.
It relies on tempo and cheap card draw to outpace its opponent
If glide is your left-most card, you will have an enormous amount of trouble triggering the outcast effects from any of your other cards. You basically have to play it if it is blocking your other outcast cards.
Playing it will shuffle outcast cards that you wanted to have back into your deck.
You will sacrifice 4 mana that could have been spent gaining tempo.
If your opponent is also agro, you might be drawing cards for them as well.
Glide is only useful if you are out of cards or close to out of cards.
Demon hunter rarely runs out of cards because it has so much good card draw.
Glide only makes sense in a deck that doesn't already have enough card draw.
In conclusion: Glide will usually hurt Demon Hunter more than it hurts its opponent. It probably wouldn't even see play at 3 mana. It only might see play at 2 mana.
I think that you are right because the playstyle of demon hunter is incompatible with this card, just Imagine draw this from the skull or doing anti synergy with altruis.
Also, Really there are people thinking that they ill have hands of 9 cards vs a demon hunter? You really need do tempo vs a demon hunter, so you hand size is around between 3-6, and also their effect can be good for you in some situations.
Also, when a control deck is playing against aggro, you only survive if you play your cheap cards, so you get to turn 4~6 you only have around 6 cards in your hand, and most of your early removal is already gone, so it's not that bad to trade your hand, even if you lose two cards.
I think that it will be a very situational card, and most competative decks will only run one of them in their decks and one skull of Gul'Dan. You Skull when you're 6 mana and need cards and you Glide when you wanna totally mess up your opponents hand.
I agree but this whiny community tends to overestimate the effect of a card and whine about it. They only look at the effect, not the context, the type of deck it goes in to, what meta it requires etc.
I also think that this card will be horrible in an aggressive meta because you don't want to waste 4 mana giving your opponent cards.
People are just thinking of it as a 4 mana 4 draw PLUS destroy the enemy game plan. For some reason, they are ignoring the conditions of "your hand should be empty," "your opponent should be aggro," "your deck shouldn't run Skull of Guldan."
Imagine how furious and confused people were when Blizz introduced Skulking Gheist. After the release, everyone was still fine and competitive playing Jade Druid, Evolve Shaman, Inner Rage Priest, and all other decks.
Glide is not as efficient as people think even against control decks. People go like "if you're control, Glide is basically making you discard 3 or 4 cards in your hand and it's insane!!" Well, if you have been using your hero powers for the entire game without playing cards while your opponent DH is beating your face, you deserve it.
You know what? I think you should THANK it because DH is spending 4 mana for you to swap the useless cards in your hand with new ones, instead of finishing you off.

That is simply not true. Geist was in every control deck there was until the point Jade Druids gave up
I think most people arent complaining about how OP the card is. More that the effect is anti-fun and can potentially kill control and combo archetypes.

Nah, there’s tons of people who think it’s broken and best card in the set.
I think that the problem the players are having with this card is the fact that it's a DH card. The community is simply fed up with that class and the way it monopolized constructed in the past 4 months. And was therefore understandably concerned about giving it a tool that can potentially singlehandedly destroy entire game plans.

Yes, "theoretically" it is great against control or combo. But it just simply doesn't fit anywhere and Demon Hunter has better card draw than sacrificing tempo for glide. If glide was given to face hunter or pirate warrior back in the day, it would be understandably outrageous, but the meta where demon hunter runs out of cards fast enough to be relevant against control or combo simply doesn't exist. Yes demon hunter has been a bit too strong since release, but they nerfed them a lot. It's hard to predict how something as drastic as a new class will shift the meta. Devs are trying to make it fair so community just needs to stop complaining and learn to adjust. Or go play wild where Demon Hunter is tier 3.

Druid kept playing Jade, but because the whole jade druid deck was so busted, enemy could lose to them even if turn 5-6 Skulking Geist, and if any late, the Jade Idol could easily start already messing up. Lets not forget this times they used to have stuff like turn 4 six mana double Innervate into Ultimate Infestation.

Glide is incompatible with other outcast cards.
Glide doesn't play well with other card draw.
In conclusion: Glide will usually hurt Demon Hunter more than it hurts its opponent. It probably wouldn't even see play at 3 mana. It only might see play at 2 mana.
It'll be better in a really hyper aggro deck, rather than a more mid-range tempo style deck.
Like your deck's curve will have to be REALLY low to make it work I think.

So let's Just delete entirely this "useless" card, right?

Demon Hunters also really care about positioning of cards in their hand, which glide totally messes up.

Imagine having to deal with this in another card game.

Glide has similar functionality to Divine Favor. Divine Favor was a strong card in the right deck. I suspect the same is true of Glide.
Yeah, i dont think this card will see play.

Honestly I agree I’m glad they made the card though to give us more to experiment with.
