Looking to some cards in the past (notably all set before The Witchwood), I came across this card named Fatespinner. The card allows player to choose which Deathrattle effect that player prefers, giving the opponent a bit of a mindgame what they would do with the minion. But after searching for a card that have this kind of effect, I found out that this is the only card that has an effect to choose one of the two Deathrattle effect. Which is quite a shame since I like the idea of this card.
My question is, should they revisit this kind of effect or any other card that has a really interesting effect? I mean yes, sure, we do have Chromatic Egg that works really similarly to Fatespinner, but it's not the same since the effect is the same no matter what you choose, just determine which outcome that you want to get.
Personally, I would love to see more interesting choices being made with regard to "secret" effects. I think that secret deathrattles are a nice design space to potentially do that. I also wouldn't mind a revamp of the way that secrets work in general. In a game that's based around playing minions and attacking with them, there are too many secrets that trigger when you perform actions that you can't reasonably avoid (like attacking or playing cards).
I personally like the effects of epic cards better because they are unusual or different effects from common rules. They are innovative and not just powerful effects like the legendary ones, although there are exceptions. As a curious fact, the summon Fatespinner of N'zoth will have the deathrattle that you chose and not simply a minion with deathrattle that does not activate.

Innovative for sure, but sometimes, that innovation can lead into the card's relevance. Some cards becomes meta-relevant (like Corpsetaker), some other becomes okay (like Warmaul Challenger), and the other just straight up trash (like Desert Obelisk). Maybe, I can't really think of any other card that has an interesting effect.
