It would require ridiculously advanced AI for Zephrys to infer that you'd rather silence all enemy minions and keep them on the board (where he perceives them as a threat) rather than destroy them all. Even if he does read deathrattles 'put to 1/1s in your opponent's deck' doesn't sound too threatening to the AI obviously as he has no way of knowing that you are playing a Highlander deck
I literally just had a similar situation. I had plenty of minions on board to clean up, and was facing 9 deathrattle face damage and the other minion on board was buffed by 3/3. So it only seems logical to offer mass dispel? Not the obvious to zephrys. I would post picture but I cant figure out how to on mobile. They had 3 leper gnome, a kobold sandtrooper, and a buffed 2/3 on board. I had maeiv, 3 snakes, and a 2/1 all ready to attack. I had exactly 6 mana (4 after zeph) and he offers *shadow word death, holy nova, and soul of the forest*. I was at 17 HP and being forced to take 9 face damage gave my opponent lethal the following turn. 🙃
You expect way too much honestly for it to know that you are playing Highlander and that Albatross counters it.
However I am surprised it didn't give you hex. I've found that it sometimes consider deathrattle a threat and offers Hex/Poly and sometimes does not. And I don;t think it has anything to do with the potency fo the Deathrattle, since Zephrys doesn't read cards.
Myabe big size PLUS a deathrattle is what you need to get Hex offered?
A simple solution to this is zeph should be coded to offer hex or poly always as one option if the opponent has a deathrattle onboard as it simply doesn't perceive the threat of the deathrattle it only looks at stats. So if your board is bigger it's unlikely you will get that as your option unless it's a taunt stopping lethal.
I'm sorry a card that offers you a card, not in your deck should not be omnipotent it should have severe limitations and zephrys right now is op between him and dragon queen Alex Highlander is not a disadvantage of any kind and if you know how to use zephrys correctly he is pretty close to perfect as a card can get without being shit your pants broken
Your opponent's board is 2 albatross 3 mana 4/3 with death rattle - and a 1 prime 1 mana 1/3 with death rattle all great stats for their mana cost and zephrys because he only knows cards from the basic and classic set has rightly assumed their death rattles are not instantly game-winning so I'm going to be more concerned about my players' health and help him clear the board or develop one of his own.
Zephrys is not a let's win the game every time I play this 2 mana card, learn to use him and not expect him to do all your work for you.
This is actually really surprising... I swear i had a very similar situation before, and got the Mass Dispel... But, I think my opponent Priest might have had Khartut Defender out... I was looking for a Hex... I haven't been playing much singleton n the last month or so, but I've noticed Zephyrs has been giving more "unexpected" options.

I found myself in a position yesterday where the following happened.
I am playing a Highlander Warrior deck and I am and 34 health and my opponent is at 30, and I have Bulwark up.
I coined Zephrys with 4 mana left with 2 albatrosses on board and the 1 mana prime from priest, hoping to get mass dispel.
However, Zephrys did not take into account the disruptive effects and added value generation on the board, therefore offering me a shadowflame.
I was wondering if anyone who is playing highlander has had the same experience?
The only card that Zephrys can read is Doomsayer.
Otherwise he is pretty dumb.
Yea i've experienced this a lot. Especially with Albatross

Lol, how can he not know that if he’s highlander card. He doesn’t know what’s in your deck or hand but he clearly may know that you’re highlander

Zeph knows the classic cards, but not anything else. It should be pretty easy to code "if deathrattle give Hex" "If multiple give mass dispel"
Silver Hand Recruit
He gave me silence when I had Kayn Sunfury on board -_- Windfury would give me win
This. Whene a big Deathrattle is on the board (such as Convincing Infiltrator or Bad Luck Albatros ) you want a polymorph or silence as an option.
Would be nice if Zeph would also consider the coin (if in your hand).

You wish for the perfect card, but Zephrys is not obliged to give you one.
Broken control warrior complains about Zephrys not winning him the game on the spot.
