Blizzard has already stated in the past that they try to produce a even 50%ish winrate so I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if there was some kind of shadow code in the draw engine than checks the board, your opponent, and the cards in your deck, and adjusts card odds based on your current win %. There's an awful lot of weird instances of drawing that one card you need. I find it weird how my decks suddenly get harder to pilot the moment I'm winning a lot. Cards being buried in the bottom of my deck, opponent's consistently topdecking, etc. This would also always ensure, to some extent, the presence of some sort of aggro style deck, because it's harder to gimp something with a low curve. This is why zoolock is that annoying cockroach that just won't die. Even if it's not "meta" it's always scurrying about on the ladder winning just enough to stay relevant.
I wouldn't put it past blizzard... Except that maintaining all that extra code and running that extra analysis real time in game would likely be very difficult and cost prohibitive. In other words blizzard would probably lose more money than they'd gain. Either that or the code would be very rudimentary and miss a lot of complex interactions
I do think they take some basic measures to rig matchmaking but probably not as you are playing each card
It's Zephrys that prove rigged card draw exists and not, you know, the brawl where you get to draw card according to how big its cost are?
Anyway if they actually cheat like this, they'd have far too great of a risk to collapse in public standing. Nobody would know if someday someone managed to leak out Hearthstone's code and expose everything.
Players don't understand such risk so you keep trying to blame rigged RNG on your bad luck.
You kids have 0 understanding of probability and guide your arguments thru emotions and memorable moments.
Did u know that if u have superpowers, u can take a walk around 22 and the goverment system will detect ur mutant genes due to the lamps switching on JUST BECOUSE U WALKED near them
Random card generators are really unfair competitively.
I don't like the keyword Discover anymore because it became too swingy. The power level of Deathrattle cards is way too weak compared to any Discover card.
So I say I really think you murdered someone. I know you did because you could do it. Now you have to prove you haven't done it because I said you did.
In any semi civilized country you are innocent until proven guilty, and all you have offered is at the very best circumstantial evidence for you being unlucky a few times.
I don't know why you feel the need to discredit Blizzard, but you seem extremely salty at the moment, and honestly you seem like a person trying to win an argument by shouting the loudest.
A lesson everyone should learn but you obviously haven't "When you are trying to make a claim and miscredit someone, you should have the evidence to back it up, not the other way around"
So, to address your post.
I posted a circumstancial case as to why it made sense that blizzard manipulates the game. You say if I call you a murderer you have to prove you are not. If you see those as equivalent, i cannot help you.
If you perceive my posts as angry, again I cannot help you. I'm not, though you seem to be.
As to your lesson. I did bring evidence, i also built foundation as to why the evidence should be considered by a thinking person. If you are unable to understand it, again I cannot help you.
in b4 lock....lol
Are you stupid or just trying to be?
I am not angry. Not at all, but you have given NO real evidence to support your claim, even though you apparently think you have.
And obviously it was to compare your style of argument to something even you could understand was wrong...
Honestly I think we would all be happy if you could prove you are right, but for some reason you don't seem to either be able or willing or both
I get it. It's comforting to believe that there's some power at work here, since the world is so chaotic and at least a company rigging games makes things feel a bit more under control.
But they aren't rigging games. The Earth isn't flat.
If Bliz was rigging games, wouldn't they have rigged the games against Roger in the HCT Winter championship a bit over year ago, since having a known cheater win looks really bad for them? Or rigged things against Blitzchung? If they were paying attention, they probably could have known he supported the Hong Kong protests before the infamous interview, and rigged things so he didn't win.
Why develop Zephrys if the point isn't to rig games? Well, the tools by which Zephryz makes decisions are probably quite handy in creating AI opponents who aren't quite as stupid. Oh look, Bliz did just that--made not so stupid AI opponents. Anyone remember how bad the computer opponents were during Naxx?
But, just like trying rational argument with Flat Earthers, HS Riggers will never be swayed that the game isn't fixed. I hope you all find some peace in your lives. I know it's hard now, in the middle of global pandemic (this thing is stressing me the **** out), but stay safe.
I've never understood topics like this. Why would Blizzard be out only to disrupt you and not, say, your opponent in any given game? Everybody looks for outside excuses as to why they lose. For God's sake just take responsibility for losing and move on to the next game. Learn from your mistakes.
Sorry, just slightly rattled when I see talk like this. I guess the OP is just asking if Blizzard can do such a thing. Absolutely they could technically do whatever the hell they want, but I still just don't see why or how they would choose who gets supposed "good luck" and who gets "bad luck". Discover has always been a bad mechanic because of how swingy it is, but at least it's a common enough mechanic that both sides can benefit from it in any given game.

Perhaps the matchup manipulation and hate rng after a certain number of games are really intended to combat the massive amount of botters that have infested this game. The fact that normal players are also punished is just a side effect.
Blizzard took a lot of heat for bot accounts reaching legend.
To answer the OP, zephrys works on a small subset of cards, with very narrow constraints, and still messes up frequently. Do you REALLY think that they have a system like zephrys that can handle every card in the game, while working intelligently with what you can do based on what is on the board and in your hand? Does this secret high tech system, which works much better than zephrys or the hearthstone AI, seem likely to you? Or is it possible that sometimes weird and unlikely things happen, because that is how randomness works, and you just attributed a pattern to it because you're a human and we're bad at impartial analysis.
On the other hand, matchmaking is 100% rigged. Blizzard really wants you to have a 50% winrate, so if you're winning a lot it matches you against other players who have been doing well, and if you're losing a lot it matches you against other players who haven't been doing as well.
in order to decide winner blizzard doesn't need complex rigging. They can make you lose just giving backward curve
And that is generally what you will see when you get to the hate rng. You get your 3 highest cost cards in your hand, you mulligan them away, they come right back and of course you are facing a nuts draw aggro.
Make him a 5 mana 3/4 or something so it cant be a "always win" card, like it is now. So you actually have to plan to use him. Now you can just sit on him until you´re losing and swing the entire game with one card. I´m so tired of this little guy.
Sometimes I wish Hearthstone had an algorithm that gives paying players insane RNG, so I wouldn't always lose in payed arena (Yes, sometimes I pay for arena) or at least get offered Illidan, that'd be cool. But alas, my last 2 games were bot 0/3. Such a waste of money.

Well, no offence, but if you pay for Arena and end up 0-3 more often than like once in 70 runs, then you are REALLY wasting your money.

Never gives me a silence card when I really need one
The idea of this thread is such bullshit. If RNG was rigged, hackers would find out, then Blizz would be ruined.
