I know everybody should know this dumb stoopid bird by now. In case you havent run into a "Bad Luck Albatross" Priest Deck consider yourself lucky because its actually unbelievably annoying to play against. Bad Luck Albatross is the perfect counter against the present Meta, with everyone and their mother playing Highlander Decks right now.
So heres the question: Would it be worth running in other Decks apart from Bird priest? Would it be worth running in your Highlander deck as a one of as a tech card? Please share your thoughts!
not everybody is playing highlander decks. nonhighlander are much more consistent (esp. Galakrond decks, also aggrodecks like facehunter or treant or murloc always gonna be around)

Many decks have/still run albatross as a tech card. The reason it's more efficient in priest is because they can make more of them. It's very easy to play normal cards until you draw one of the albatrosses, so for highlander decks it's normally more of an inconvenience than a get rekt card.
I hate this card, I will burn this bird to a crisp and eat it and then murder its children and drink their blood but their blood wont be enough so I would wait for the children's eggs then smash them in front of their eyes and THEN I will kill them

Really liking this comment because these kind are the most fun to read XD.
Albatross is just a really well thought tech card and I might say it's even a little bit overtuned cause it has really good stats for 3 mana, an effect that can shut down highlander cards for several turns and it's a decent turn 3 play against any deck and has value at any point in the game as disrupting a draw is great no matter what.
That is true. I think Highlander decks will keep struggling because the control decks are as controlly as they get with resurrection and bird priest for example but the aggro decks are as agressive as they get with Dragon/Face Hunter. Im playing Highlander Mage and i have the feeling its trying to be both agressive and controlly but its doing neither of those things as well as the other decks.

I guess you cant afford to put a 3 Mana 4/3 into your deck against a Hunter that will clear it with Stormhammer or against a Mage/Priest that can easily wait until he draws one Albatross.
Whoever designed this card isn't playing the game. How can you create one card that destroys two archetypes of decks but not have the ingenuity to create cards that destroy every other archetype of deck as well?

After the nerf Bad Luck Albatross will still be a really impactful card, I am betting for the use of Wyrmrest Purifier as a tech inclusion to react to Albatross going out of control in your deck.
Wyrmrest Purifier damn, it is awesome in Demon Hunter, you can safely clear those 6 Albatross that priest forced you to put in your deck.
I love this card. By the way I never tried it. But when it comes to the battlefield and makes the bird noise it's like all Blizzard employees are laughing of all of us.
Highlander is not the reason da bird is gud. Spellbreaker and AoP are gone, so its effect always go off and ppl have less card draw to alleviate the rage of drawing the birds, that ended up making it strong in all control matchups. The nerf aint gonna change anything btw, we're stuck with this shit (sad bird noises)
Im actually using him in my Highlander Pally. Its a good on curve minion statwise and the effect is strong against every deck and gamechanging against Pure/spellonly decks. But i think im gonna swap him after the nerf for antoher 3 drop.

I laugh every time it's comes to battlefield.
It's very powerful annoying card.
whos butt?
Its good outside of hard countering highlanders, it makes topdecks shitty
It just got nerfed to 4 mana. It’s kinda trash now.
