I remember seeing it in a Rogue deck with Necrium Apothecary. Can't quite remember what the goal was... Maybe a bunch of low cost value with Academic Espionage? I think they were running Waxadred, too.
I have a theorycrafted deck for Ashes of Outland called Combo Beast Hunter that relies on a midrange beast shell and finishes strong with Zixor Prime, and or Beastmaster Leoroxx to pull big beasts, one of which is Octosari which then crucially reloads your hand in case they board wipe, as well as being a potential 8/8 charge alongside of Tundra Rhino. Give it a look and let me know what you think bro
Ayy glad I could help, let me know how it works out for you! I'll be looking to gather as much data and info to make adjustments. Hopefully the octopus turns out to be as good as i think he'll be for the list
For a time during Uldum it was actually decent in Highlander Paladin. I was able to climb to 5 enjoyably with the deck and it really did work as a refill. With its components intact (Finley, Zephrys, Alex) I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see HL Pal rise again after the rotation of so many cards. 100% keep.
It was used as a main draw engine in pre-Galakrond mid-range warrior version (with Leeroy/Mercenary combo), I guess it will see play in the future as well.
I played a tempo rogue during the Uldum meta that used Ocotsari as a curvetopper with the lackey package. Was very strong, but with Galakrond, having a ton of cards is no problem, so Ocotsari wouldn simply ruin your plan for Rogue. No idea for other classes, it's a wacky card.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
in slow wild warlock decks that tend to go towards fatigue it can be used as a tool to let your opponent overdraw, or if you face a combo deck, you can try to let him overdraw his combo pieces...
the combo is being set up with emperor thaurisan while having Octosari, Power Overwhelming and threachery in hand, the combo costs now 9 mana... You play Octosari, play PO on Octosari, then give it to your opponent... at the end of your turn, he draws 8 cards, plus 1 from his turn... if he just ran out of cards, that is 45 damage due to fatigue :P
got it my pack and I dont think I have ever played it myself before, cant even remember it being played against me.
so how(if possible) is it being used? can only think of it as a draw for aggro but that seems pretty bad also.
Its a very anoying card that I really want to use in some meemnanigan fun.

Beastmaster Leoroxx might make him see play or at least decks experimenting him.
