Rogue is already one of the best classes in the game. With the addition of Grand Lackey Erkhcoming out soon, I think Rouge will just have too many turns playing 10 or more cards every turn, which will lead to players having bad experiences playing the game.
Is this kind of RNG generator good for the game? Does Blizzard even have a choice any more, considering the games is about 5 years old, and has sort of "ran its course". Theres only so many ways this game can make a 5 beat a 4 interesting, without creating huge OP turns and power swings like we see now.
I dont think Blizzard can go back to the way it used to be anymore? Making the game bigger, brighter, with more crazy turns creates gameplay which can be upsetting to some. If they remove the power spike of the game over the coming expansions, then they will lose players probably.
Maybe Blizzard will make some cards that can interact or disrupt Lackey decks? Otherwise, its gonna be Lackeys Lackeys Lackeys all day long.
It's going to be good but ease up on the doomsday speak. One turn of some more lackeys isn't going to break the game. Aggro decks will still pick rogues apart.
I spent many games yawning as rogue played lackey after lackey. Not feeling pressured in the slightest by a board full of 1/1s. If rogue wants to cut one of their cards in order to play even more lackeys, they can go right ahead as far as I’m concerned.

Not sure if you play the same game as I do.. lackeys are busted, one of the reasons rogue is so strong at the moment..
Ya this is gonna creat Lackylock more than boost Rogue. A board full of 1/1s is nothing next to impact of a sudden board of value generating 1 mana 4/4s.
I personally think it is maybe playable in Warrior as they don't have many lackey generation, and with just one lackey they have a lot of value.
For Warlock it could be fun with Tekahn, as you make fullboard of 4/4 with additional lackey.
In Shaman for extra battlecry value.
In Rogue I have noticed that they have sometimes full hand from galakronds power and miscreant, so maybe I'm not sure if they would like another thing that fills their hand, but it is strong addition anyway. Who knows how often it will be played, but played for sure.

I can see this being pretty good in old-school quest shaman. You could have a heck of a powerful turn chaining these together. But it's only 1 turn.
Rogue, yeah, rogue already has handspace issues with all the lackeys they generate. Not sure they are going to feel super happy about generating more lackeys and not having enough space for the discover results.
I wonder what brings you to the conclusion that Rogue will absolutely play Grand Lackey Erkh. I mean yeah, the class will try it for sure, but most of the lists right now have the issue of hand space since they generate more cards than those they can play in one turn.
Moreover, GLE is a low tempo minion that you can't just jam on curve (like Spirit of the Shark) and expect to survive unscathed your opponent's turn: it is at least a turn 6/7 play, turns in which you play Heistbaron Togwaggle for a 3 mana draw 3 0 cost cards Wondrous Wand or fully invoke/play Galakrond, the Nightmare. Which alternative is better?
Again, I'm not saying GLE is bad or that it won't see play (in Rogue or in general), but it won't be the card to force a nerf to Valeera.
All rogues have their hands full of lackeys thanks to the invocation of Galakrond. It is unnecessary that legendary in rogue because you want to draw 4 cards of cost 0 without burning important cards.
In Warlock it is more viable by Tekhan that converts all lackeys into 4/4.
In Shaman it is also bad because despite combining well with the quest, the quest for Galakrond with Shudderwock is used. The only generators of lackeys that it carries are the totem and that murloc. Because the limit of battlecrys that Shudderwock can generate is 20.
In other classes there is not much incentive to play lackeys because they have stronger cards. In the good classes they have little chance of generating lackeys, the only generator is the EVIL Cable Rat.
It's really not that good of a card man. Rogue doesn't need more value generation and erkh has a terrible body for a 4 drop. I'd be very surprised if it's played at all in competitive rogue decklists, or even much in strong decklists outside of rogue. It's just too easy to remove and too expensive to play in aggro, in most scenarios it'll only provide 1 turn worth of value.
Is Grand Lackey Erkh going to push players away? Ofc it will. We had Undertaker, Dr.Boom, Mysterious Challenger, Patches, Raza, Jade Idol etc. etc. that did the same. Some of them came back and got pushed away by other cards and others never returned.

Rogue doesn’t need more value so I don’t think she will even fit into that deck, lackey lock might actually be a thing though because of her

Yeah, a toast!
Seems it is more used in Warlock tho.
With all the removal in the game, why would I worry about a targetable three health minion?
Grammar is the difference between knowing your crap, and knowing you’re crap.
A .gif is worth a thousand words.
Warlock, priest and warrior can have a better use of this than rogue, rogue already have very good lackey generators.
Unless they release a lackey can heal this card will not be problematic in rogue.

Priest has no use for that card, Priest lackey generation is utter shit.
Warrior is the best class for this card because of that Lackey weapon.

I know it's not a hard counter but they will also be adding that minion that disrupts Battlecries for a turn

But don't worry, Blizzard won't go bankrupt.
Rogue is not "one of the strongest classes". Rogue is currently 4th with a 49.4% overall winrate, pretty close to warlock at 49.1%.
And no individual rogue deck has over 57% winrate.
It's fine.
