I really hate this card. Do we really need more fucking Lackey RNG fiest than we already have? Jesus...
Play this with a Lackey, get a Lackey. You can fill your hand with discovered stuff by dropping the lackeys it generated by dropping its own generated lackeys.
I don't think this is good enough, body is weak, it does nothing on its own, and value is not something that leads to victories in most lackey classes, except for Warlock. I think this works in Warlock, also possibly Shaman, but Warrior and Rogue will pass. Rogue has much better things to do than play this, and at best it serves as a Spirit of teh Shark replacement come rotation, but as most rogue players know, that card is not very good and has been overhyped for too long, and the data has supported that for quite a while.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
All of you saying this is bad/too slow/classes like rogue don't make use of value. Definitely reposting this thread post launch. How people can think this card is bad is mindblowing.

When all possible outcomes are extremely good, your complaint isn't really about RNG, though. It's about the power level of Lackeys generally, and how easy it is to create them.
So does this mean that all four explorers aren’t getting hero cards?
Why would you assume such a thing? This is an E.V.I.L. reward. It has nothing to do with the rewards from the Explorer path.
I was assuming this because the fact sheet for this adventure said that they will be releasing 35 cards, with four of them being legendaries. If Reno is one (Mage), and this is two (Neutral), that leaves two legendaries left to be split amongst Druid, Hunter, Paladin, and possibly Neutral again.
Looks a bit understatted, but from what I've learned is to never underestimate lackey generation. Chaining this with a bunch of lackeys in the lategame can make for a nice hand refill. It's also especially good with Dark Pharaoh Tekahn.
I'm just not seeing it. Yes there is an obvious fit with Dark Pharaoh Tekahn, but will that deck be any good? You have to Draw Tekahn or the deck is trash. But my biggest issue is with how slow it is. Its a value card for lackeys; which are tempo cards. Its a measly 4 mana 2/3 (weak) and to really get the value out of it you would need to play it on turn 7 or later. I'm sorry but by turn 7 I want do do more than play a 2/3 and 3 1/1s that give me small temp bumps or some random spells/dragons. I'm probably wrong but I don't think this card is that good. If it was a 3/5 maybe, but then its still slow- I just don't see it being worth the value.
What you have to realize is the reason for its insanity is you need only play one 1 mana card and this card generates 6+ cards. And you call the lackeys "measely," but they be great effects and generate great tempo gain.
This is not being overhyped imo, it's going to be very strong. It needs only a single lackey to get going and then you're just doing lots and lots of stuff while generating a ton of value.
This is almost like gadgetzan on 4 mana that generates far more tempo. The only downside is, as some have stated, is that 4 classes pretty much can't play this. The heroes better get some big love.
Edit: Also, imagine rogue going into turn 10 with this and spirit of the shark loaded. If you think that turn ain't gonna be crazy, you crazy.
The problem is you have to have a lot of mana for this card to be any good. It's just not as crazy as people make it out to be.
So does this mean that all four explorers aren’t getting hero cards?
I don't know why you'd think that. All the hero classes get 1 more card then the villian classes and this was a neutral legendary not a class specific legendary.

Okay burn that is a weak statement to make. There are plenty of cards that you need a lot of mana to be good, and that are good. This card generates both value and tempo, so I still don't understand the logic.
Unleash>vernanus is a very strong combo that costs lots of mana. For 9 mana this card generates a ton of value and tempo.

Because they said there would only be 4 legendaries in this adventure
I think this card meets the same fate as Spirit of the Shark in Galakrond rogue. It looks good because you have all these lackeys but it's just so badly statted that you can't afford to play it against most decks. I think it's a bit better than shark but not by much. Still a bait.
Maybe quest shaman? The Dark Pharaoh Tekahn thing seems gimmicky and unreliable but I could see it winning a few games.
With what we've seen so far I don't think this is a good card.

You already generate more than enough lackeys in all rogue builds. Could be good in zoolock, except (as others have pointed out) you need 5-6 . mana and the minion is understated to boot.
Not a bad card, but mostly for Warlock. It reminds me of the shaman murloc that generates murlocks in some extend. It rogue it would su*k big time because that class already has many ways of generating cards and if you play this you will end with a hand full of 1/1s that you cannot play at some point. and eventually you will end burning good cards of your deck. Another fit for that card is quest shaman, but the problem here also is filling you hand with useless 1/1s... So Warlock wins the vote.
Lackey decks don't need this unless the meta becomes ultra greedy. They have enough value and would much rather have tempo. Will see experimentation but not consistent play i think.
Too slow... not going to be played outside of it being tested the first few days

Funny in combo in wild: Generous Mummy + Treachery [/card]= infinite lackeys lol [card]Card Name.
However this card is not to be underestimated as it always gives you a 1 mana card that cycles itself likeLyra the Sunshard.

I wouldn't want this in a pack.

I'm so tired of the lackey mechanic.
