3 mana 3/3 is what typical stats will be like and this has the potential to ruin combos and if you can coin it out on 2 or even at 3, There's a pretty damn good chance your opponent is losing a card.
"Playable" cards. This restriction make this card fair, perhaps too fair.
I don't see where to fit this, it's a disruptive card for mid decks, 3 manas 4/3 gives me this midrange feeling (perhaps cause of bearshark).
It would be great in some kind of mid demon lock, but demons are usually on the agressive spectrum (Zoo), and in rare cases people brew some crazy demon decks like cubelock.
This meta defining card makes Dirty Rat and Gnomeferatu obsolete in renolock. Good vs. all types of decks and can't whiff unlike dirty rat pulling out an 8/8 and losing you the game. I don't run either, but I will run chaos gazer.

Of course it can whiff. In fact, unlike the two cards you mention, your opponent isn't guaranteed to lose anything from you playing Chaos Gazer.
And how is a 3 mana 4/3 with no immediate impact "good vs. all types of decks"? This is atrocious against aggro, whether they slam their already played 2 mana 3/2 into this, or not.
The flavor is great but I think it's too strong at 3 cost. You can play it really early to not only destroy some strong potential combos but deny a whole card draw if you hit some 5+ cost card. Should've made it cost 4 mana.
I'm on the fence on this card. There are an absolute load of ways that this card ends up performing as a vanilla 4/3 for 3, even against the decks you've teched it in to try and beat.
Getting it out early (esp with coin) is just locking it in against cheap removal/minions your opponent was probably going to play anyway. Leaving it late dilutes the chance of it hitting a clutch card.
Potentially a bit rude with Loatheb in wild as you can make the corrupted card unplayable, but even then I'm not excited.
Its strong as hell. Well stated, demon with no drawbacks. So i would say meta defining. But cards these days are so incredibely powerfull and both players just smashing some OP shit on board every turn that it migh not be meta defining at all. Somewhere between, good design.
I can see playing this alongside something you don't want to get hit with removal. They may be forced to sacrifice a card to deal with your board or sacrifice removal to save a card in their hand
I think it is fair it can hit only cards, that you can play. I see it more of a late game card then sooner.
If you play it soon, opponent mind be some big deck, or could have played their early play already, and when there is nothing to target (no playable card for opponent) this is just 4/3 demon.
Although if you drop it later, and you have pressure on your opponent you can hit their win con/combo piece/value card or simply threat that could kill you, but when they play it, they will die, so they must play survival tools, but then it gets discarded so GG.

in my opinion gnomferatu was like 10 times better
The Coin becomes ultimate tech in new Warlock meta KEKW
Zero stat reduction and a lot of times will Mill a card from your opponents hand or screw their combo. Very strong card.
Destroying a card from hand is a lot more powerful than destroying it from deck.
Meta-defining.

Let's see, interesting card nevertheless.
This card makes me wish I still had a solid Wild collection.
since this is "playable" i think this is medicore.
The card becomes worse and worse as the game and turns go later and later. Great on curve, not so much great late in the game.

for opponent discard effect (an effect they said they wanted to avoid because its not fun to play against) I think this is a fair compromise.
I just hope they dont go too far with it when this card underperforms due to there being no decks that can use this in standard right now

Automatic discard at the end of your turn. Look The Soularium but for your opponent.
Its playable for sure. A demon with amazing stats. It can work in a lot of decks. Tbh I see this being a 5 drop but we'll see if they change it.
