People keep suggesting hero power will re-appear minions that were disappeared. I hope that isn't correct. It seems like that would be a significantly varying power level forcing you to wait until the board was really stacked to maximize value. I think it will be something totally different. Similar to Zul'jin 2 dmg being totally different from his battlecry to cast all spells. Lets just hope its something pretty strong. Too bad the explorers won't have game long effects like the E.V.I.L. crew's invoke; that would have been a fun direct counter. The value over time of invoke makes the hero cards feel less of a dead card since you're still getting "use" out of it even if you draw early and aren't playing it. Just some thoughts.
Why would you wait until it the board was full? Seems very unlogical. You can of course do that if you are desperate, but mage has plenty of good AEO. A full board would delute your Discover pool with weak impact cards. You would use it when there are few high value minions on board, or even one high value minion and the two others don't really matter. Since discover pool is always 3 minions, you would want to pick the same minion every turn. Of course the perfect outcome is a combo of 1 high value and 2 flexible tech minions on board.
I dont get it why ppl keep saying the HP is discover a puff minion. Thats will be OP as f*** because all minions use in construct are good minions and lots of them have shitload of value . That kind of hero power will make Dr.Boom and Rexxar a joke.
I think the HP will be his arcane machine gun. Something in the line of Deal 4 damage to random enemies.
