It works more like Plague of Death as all minions on the board, regardless of the enchantment or keyword simply disappear never to be seen from again. I did not realize that this card was coming out as I never went online and reviewed the cards being released each week per adventure. I was playing a secret Hunter or highlander hunter, but it doesn’t matter as out of nowhere he drops that 10 mana bad boy on me and I did a triple take. The game immediately swung in my opponents favor and I ended up losing.
i have yet to face that card again, but I am thinking that the passive hero power, which casts a random spell, can affect either player at random. The spells are not solely directed at your hero & minions so in some cases I can see how one would get a good laugh out of your opponent casting a Fireball against their own hero!
The Amazing Reno works spectacularly well with Dragonqueen Alexstrasza. You play Dragqueen first and then don't play the dragons she pulls. Next turn play Reno to clear the board then drop your 2x 0 cost dragons down.
I was able to do this last night vs a full board of Ysera dragons and other big boys. I was dead to rights vs his full health but ended up winning the following turn after dropping Alexstrasza to drop him to 15 and another dragon after the clear.
I almost dropped my phone we he cast Puzzlebox yesterday.
So do we know if Amazing Reno's Battlecry removes the minions from the graveyard as well (ie cannot be resurrected)? Or is it just a silence and destroy effect?

Has Reno been stealth buffed? I remember when it was brand new, people complained that it's garbage, and when I played it, I noticed too that the random spells benefit my opponents much more than me. But lately getting even 15 beneficial spells in a row seems to be normal. Come to think of it, I haven't seen a single negative spell yesterday or today after seeing lots of Reno action on both sides. At most spells that don't benefit either, but nothing that is bad for the Reno.
Random spells generally favor the caster. Sample size has to be fairly large to draw any real conclusions so brief trends are irrelevant. I haven't seen anything yet that indicates there's any selective process in play. Most of the time the spells are irrelevant or in my favor. But last night I lost my first rebuild turn after playing Reno to him casting Forbidden Words.
I am willing to admit that I love this card even with the hero power.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just to confirm in case anyone is wondering... Poof! Does not remove dormant minions.
