My vote goes for Leeroy Jenkins for sure. Send that card to the pits of hell. It is the single most card i've lost to for years now. Infinitely worse than Malygos which comes online much later and requires more setup. Im biased because im tired of loosing at either turn 6 coin or shadowstepped leeroy into whatever.
Would like to see a lot less focus on big swing turns with free minions. Way too many cards are being overvalued for their mana cost. This makes them auto includes in so many decks.
If control/combo decks can have access to Neutral Taunts/Heals/Rush options, then Aggro should have access to Neutral Chargers.
The meta game isn't even dominated by aggro. Face Hunter made ONE appearance in the meta, the literal first time its been relevant since like, 2016, and that was only because Rogue and Shaman were top of the meta. A class who has always been weak to aggro and a Shaman deck that didn't have tons of AOE/Healing for once, which also proved to be a good match up for Face Hunter to win against.
Other than that, Aggro hasn't really been a thing. Stop trying to take tools away from it, we don't need another snorefest meta where the only viable decks are greedy decks making infinite value while having enough Taunts/AOEs to curb stomp aggro while getting there, like the Deathknight metas. Hearthstone panders heavily towards Value/Control decks as is and has been for a long time. Aggro hardly gets anything nowadays, it doesn't need what few things it has, taken away.
What a surprise...brainless aggro player has absolutely no clue.
If they HOF Leeroy it's gonna be hard for me to keep playing. It solidifies the fact Blizzard is throwing charge out. Go ahead and HOF King Krush while we're at it.
I would agree with Leeroy Jenkins if it wouldn`t affect the aggro decks, as Faby said .
However, I would move to HoF Bloodmage Thalnos because it`s had its time of glory, really.
Another one would be Novice Engineer. It`s a somewhat card that annoys me, and for some reasons, is sometimes the luck of the draw for a lethal move. No skill whatsoever involved, just a draw for lethal.
And lastly some priest card that is making them one of the most complete classes right now, with both aggro, midrange-ish and late game decks.
That`s just me, and it`s just an opinion.
i don't think i've seen bloodmage thalnos in any deck in forever, it's not a problem..
I do not agree with Inner fire/Divine spirit being a candidate. Priest doesn’t even have a good meta deck that includes the combo, even combo as a whole has been dead for a while. Where are all the Mecha’thuns? It might be HoF because it is annoying but it is not op (at the moment).
I don’t want stonetusk boar to be HoF because that would just prove how much Blizzard hates charge, they didn’t print a single charge card in two years. If they HoF that, then I could see them HoF the entire Charge classic cards and replace them possibly with rush cards and personally, I don’t want that to happen.
HoF doesn't require a card to be OP. It exists to push out evergreen cards which are too universally useful in all decks, or cards which are overly limiting to the game designers.
Priest classic set is largely considered by many (including Blizzard) to be absolutely garbage. Most of the cards exist for the purpose of terrible combos, around unreliable theft (which should be Rogue's thing anyway), and then Shadowform, which is made redundant by the amount of cards which give better hero powers.
If anything, they might remove 3-4 Priest cards and give them a couple of new cards instead.
For Boar, Blizzard DOES hate charge. Boar limits buff designs because of the way it can run them to the face so cheaply. One of the only reasons the original Rogue Quest was such a disaster was because of Stonetusk Boar and Deckhand.
The only way face damage works with cards is by being limited by high costs, like Fireball, Pyro, or Krush. Every other print has been a disaster.
EDIT: Oh, and Leeroy isn't an aggro card. He's useful in aggro decks, but they tend to have far more cost efficient cards (like Kill Command). He's far stronger in midrange and control decks. Leeroy Shadowstep Eviscerate is a 16 damage combo. Combo Priest win condition is a OTKO with him, and drawing him with Galakrond Warrior is generally a guaranteed win with the 5 mana Pyroblast that can be combo'd for 24 damage.
Every one is shitting about leeroy but can we all agree to move that little bitch sorcerer's apprentice into oblivion? This is by far the most annoying card in standard. I'd also add archmage vorgoth, this card is just plain stupid and i don't have any idea why the fuck you'd print such an op card
I would personally like to see Mountain Giant and Edwin sent to the great HoF in the sky.
MG isn't oppressive by any means, I'm just over the card. But Giant Edwin's on turn 3/4 that cannot be dealt with and win a game by themselves are just a really annoying and pretty interactive.
If they HOF Leeroy it's gonna be hard for me to keep playing. It solidifies the fact Blizzard is throwing charge out. Go ahead and HOF King Krush while we're at it.
They should indeed HoF King Krush and also let him bring Dinotamer Brann with him. Any card that promotes 1 turn kill or charge is something that should be eliminated.
Okay, I agree with you about Leeroy Jenkins he is used almost in every face deck in the game right now. Now for Alexstrasza I haven't seen her in a while, but she can be moved in HoF cuz of future card design, the same goes for Shadow step. I learn that a lot of the community hate to play vs Inner Fire & Divine Spirit combo, and let's not forget that they HoF Mind Blast in the middle of the year. So one or both could be moved to HoF. And let's not forget about Genn Greymane & Baku the Mooneater how they were removed, I believe that all the Galakrond card could go to HoF if the new Expansion doesn't put 20-30% of the cards in the meta. But this is only in the 1st expansion of the new year doesn't go as they expect, and then like last year, in the middle of the year they will HoF all invoke cards.

All charge cards that are neutral. Rush is a much more successful mechanic. Aggro needs finishers, I’d rather see class specific aggro finishers than a handful of grandfathered in charge cards that have no class identity other than can go face this turn. Hunter should have one or two charge beasts. Rogue should have a charge minion based off of number of times bounced or combo cards played, like a weaker Edwin. Warrior can keep their charge minion, maybe make the charge pirate a warrior class. I don’t see Druid, warlock or shaman needing charge as they flood and buff tokens, which is a different aggro stat than charge.
My theory is if they only HoF Leeroy Jenkins, people will try to execute the same combos with Reckless Rocketeer with VERY little, to absolutely no success. Therefore, I don't see much harm in leaving her or the other unused Charge minions in standard. I think the HoF should be saved for minions who are too powerful to be left in standard or just plain ol' mistakes (i.e. the Odd/Even cards).
However, there's always the option of summoning these minions by way of other cards and not via putting them in your deck. For example, Power of Creation is pretty good if you manage to get Argent Commander. Do we hate Charge so much that we're willing to pull useless cards from constructed play so they don't show up randomly on the battlefield from other cards? Perhaps.

Shadowstep from Roque because the card is just broken and unhealthy in so many ways, same usually applys to Edwin VanCleef, but I would not HoF him just yet.
Divine Spirit from Priest on the other hand is self explanatory
To me, the concept of aggro decks are tiring. I don't see the fun in ending your opponent in 4 turns. Yet again, I love playing control decks so you can say I'm salty

Ahh strong midrange meta is much more a nighmare for control decks than aggro decks mate. Also Control Warrior always crush aggros in any metas. If you are playing the control deck that target other slow decks, aggro is a must for your deck to be viable to climb ladder
After playing a lot in these past months, I'm almost sure that Edwin VanCleef will get HOF'ed. The card can instawin a match very easily. At least in other metas Rogue had to go all in with Edwin, but the overabundance of lackeys and the draw power plus 0 cost mana cards the class currently has access completely take that away. Considering Galakrond Rogue doesn't lose anything after rotation, either some of their cards will get nerfed or some HOF'ed, otherwise it will be one more year of this.
If the deck is already among the best (if not the best) in the game with two full expansion cycles, imagine when everyone else gets weaker after the rotation.
I see Shadowstep getting nerfed/HOF'ed before Leeroy as well.
This card is has had problematic interactions because of card animations. Most recently with Ysera, Unleashed, where players would have their entire turn skipped. This card is just a trash classic legendary too, so trade it out for a card that might make a deck list. A card players might actually want to craft or pull.
Not every HOF has to be a barn burner.

Incorrect. This thread is exactly how the developers think. Cards that are always played no matter what. They want a more spicy meta.
Leeroy is going for sure. I can't think of any other card that keeps on getting played.

I see Bloodmage Thalnos more than I see my family.
Ah no you already killed prep leave shadow step alone

lmao not saying much from a dude named count dumpula. regardless he's still not a problem nor seen as much as other classics.
