Hey, I farmed some dust and feel now ready to craft a new deck. What decks do you prefer? I'm looking for something thats fun, but also competetive. For deathrattle rogue I personally think that it is good right now, but if the Apothecary gets nerfed the deck is pretty much done.
The vicious syndicate report is released tomorrow. So that should give a more accurate picture about what decks are likely to remain viable (till the adventure is released in a month or whatever).
DR Rogue is competitive, but not tier 1. I personally don't like the deck, it seems inconsistent. Typical high roll Rogue deck that feels really bad to lose to.
Both Rogue decks are just OK. They are viable, so play them if you like them. I doubt a tier 2 deck is going to get nerfed anytime soon. If anything is going to be nerfed, my money's on Ancharrr.
Honestly, the difference between tier 1 and tier 2 is barely noticeable.
Even Embiggen Druid, which they say is bottom of tier 2, is actually fine.

Shouldn't you be telling us what decks you prefer, and then we tell you how competitive they are and/or what's craft-worthy?
As far as DR rogue goes: if you don't mind the high-rolley nature, the Anubeseth variant a pretty great deck on for a budget right now. The only must-have cards more expensive than rare are the 2x Necrium Apothecary, and either they'll get directly nerfed (i.e., full refund) or the Anubeseth will get nerfed (i.e., just transition into the Whelp variant). I would hold off on crafting Anka and Flik right away if you don't have them, though--they're nice, but you don't need them to win.
So after I took a look at the meta report on vicioussyndicate.com, I am now considering crafting either Galakrond Warrior or Highlander Galakrond Rogue. I have dust for one of them. What deck do you prefer and why and on which one would you spend your dust on?
I would honestly go for the Galakrond Warrior. It does much better than Rogue against all of those pesky Face Hunters and Pirate Warriors out there and is just an overall interesting deck to play.
It has a slightly higher winrate compared to Rogue. Besides, Rogue may get pretty screwed if Blizzard decides to nerf Necrium Apothecary.
Also, Galakrond Warrior has a little more versatility when it comes to an overall deck build (you may go dragons, armour, control, midrange builds and so on).
Just my thoughts. I mean, if you enjoy Rogue more than Warrior, by all means, go with something you enjoy playing more. But if you're indifferent, I would argue that Galakrond Warrior is a little more of a safer bet.

This.
I could counter argue that Highlander Rogue decks have more versatility and flexibility, and therefore are more suited to adapt both in-game and deck building than any of the current warrior archetypes. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAU2BtyjUc8 ) The flip side of that coin is that its a harder deck to pilot, and it ironically struggles to continuously answer decks with "simple" strategies like facehunter, pirate hunter, and zoolock. At the end of the day, though: no deck is going to be perfect, so pick your own bed and lie in it.

Highlander Rouge! Deathrattle junk is not needed.

I had good results with a midrange/control Galakrond warrior
You have 2 options. A disgusting aggro deck or a disgusting deck that counters aggro.

Thanks for all answers :)

Got legend with a treant deck. Not saying it's viable but it was fun.
