Shaman basically got their own Coghammer (Powermace) and class-specific healing (Vitality Totem) but people see the 2 murloc cards and say shamans got screwed.

It's not as bad as people are claiming it is. Hell, this doesn't have to be in a Murloc deck, to even gain value. Imagine getting 4 Murloc Warleaders. However, a better effect would have been to play 2 random Murlocs.
As the guy above said, drawing 4 cards in an aggro deck is HUGE, specially because you'll draw cards that are garanteed to sinergize with the rest of your deck (assuming this will only see play in murloc decks). Too bad it's not a murloc itself.
Btw, are ALL murlocks included in the drawing pool? because drawing extra Murloc Warleader or Old Murk-Eye would be awesome.

Man, you guys are kind of brain dead, it's a 7 mana 7/7 with Draw 4 minions on it, if Blizzard gives Shamans an aggressive Murloc deck that's probably more variation in a Shaman deck than between any other Shaman archetype currently existing right now. The sustained clock from this thing is very real.
It's a 10 mana 7/7 with 4 murlocks on it.
See, it's like Shamans have become murlocs and murlocs have become Shamans. If I want to play non-murloc Shaman, this expansion did very little for me. I dislike murlocs but love Shamans, not I have to deal with this shit for another year before we get another set of cards. How fun
It just diversified Shaman archetypes towards Murloc the same way Druids became more Beast oriented. I don't think Shamans got screwed at all in this set, between Crackle, Powerhammer and Vitality Totem they probably got 3 of the better general class cards and the Murloc cards are not bad cards at all for a Murloc archetype.
If you think your class cards are bad, just look at Rogue and thank God you're not them.
Happy Shaman are getting new archetypes though (or at least attempt them). Now there's the Malygos Combo, Murloc, and Mech along with the existing ones.
Running murlocs you probably already won before turn 7, so this card serves for what? Recover from a board clear? Great, you start playing your 1 health murlocs again when you opponent already has something stronger on the board. If they have a removal too, there goes your Neptulon as well.
I am thinking just 2 warleaders with this might work? Maybe?
Or none at all, Eh. Hard to say interesting. But I would prefer totally random minions rather than murlocs but it does have synergy with that other card. .......
Well i wasn't expecting that one although the previous Murlock Shaman card was making me wondering about the new direction they wanted us to take with shaman.... So we're back on some kind of bloodlust deck?
I'm a bit disapointed, especially after that great Healing totem but we will see.
An insane card: 7/7 for 7 passes the vanilla test. And on top of that is has card draw.
Shaman decks usually run out of steam at turns 7 or so. And thus, EVEN SHAMAN DECKS THAT DON'T USE ANY MURLOCS will still be able to use this card.
So Shamans would run a 7 mana 7/7 WITH 3 overload instead of a War Golem, which is pretty bad?
I am personally seeing this card as a very specific Sprint that also summons a War Golem. If you are complaining about Overload in Shaman, then there's a problem as it is something you have to learn to optimize with the class. Play this on turn 7, then next turn you could play 2-3 of the Murlocs that you just drew.
Why are you comparing this to Mal'Ganis or other legendarys that cost more? 7 Mana 3 Overload to refill your hand? Sure!

After taking a shower and thinking about this card(yes I think of hearthstone while I shower), it's probably not that bad. My real issue is that I personally don't like Murlocs, but I'm willing to give this a shot. It might work better in practice than it does in theory.

its not card draw, its random murlocs in your hand not from your deck. And murlocs overall suck by the time you use this card.

Yeah, druids draw 2 amazing cards and u draw 4 murlocks. Shaman would trade this card for ancient in a heart beat.
