As much as I think Shaman is in a better place, and the meta is healthier because of it, there is one inconsistency I absolutely loathe. As per title, if Shudderwock's Battlecry casts Faceless Corruptor's first, on a minion, and is then followed up by Barista Lynchen's Battlecry, it adds another Shudderwock to the player's hand. It won't cost 1 mana, but still, it's extremely inconsistent with the change to the wording on Saronite Chain Gang.
So, for consistency's sake, Blizzard should reword Faceless Corruptor to read: Battlecry: Change another friendly minion into a Faceless Corruptor. Or atleast, something like that. Would you agree? Of don't you see it as problematic?

Faceless Corruptor is stil an extremely strong card, but it is intended to trigger only if you have another minion in play, so I don't think it is inconistant with similar cards.
Also, Galakrond shaman took a serious hit with the nerfs. Other decks are fighting to take its place, but I suspect many of them will be very agressive!
My point is more about the consistency of things. I know Doppelganger has the same issue with Shudderwock, but that's Wild. Apart from the issue in consistency, it's bad enough having to deal with 2 fully upgraded Galakrond, the Tempest, let alone a third or even fourth time.

For the last time; this is not because I think Shaman is too strong, but because of the lack of consistency in designing cards. I actually like playing against a Shaman now.
But as of right now, most lists don't run Barista yet, but if they start doing so, I don't want to come back to a forum littered by the same posts. They need to be ahead of the curve on situations like this.

I just don’t see it happen. You can not have shudders battlecry go off twice anymore, shudder can’t cost 1 anymore. Barista battlecry can’t go off before faceless or it fails. You have to summon a minion before faceless or it fails. It is so inconsistent and even then you can summon only one shudder a turn. It’s just not the same situation.

Oh, sorry, I didn't mean for this scenario to necessarily be compared to the old situation. My point was more about it being able to add Shudderwock to your hand again, and I'm not sure if the devs have thought that through. And because of it, there's a third huge power spike in Galakrond Shaman. That was more along the lines of what I meant.

Ah gocha. Yeah just one extra shudder can be huge in galakrond, even if it is not guaranteed. You already run all the cards needed anyway, so you don’t need to weaken your deck for it to happen either. I think the main reason saronite chaingang was changed was the endless turns though and just how annoying the whole multiple shudderwocks a turn was. I really don’t think that the devs are unaware of the interaction, but they don’t mind or may even want the option for this to happen. I have run barista though, and this never happened for me.
almost every meta is rock-paper-scissors. Galakrond beats most control and gets beat by most aggro. This interaction doesn’t change that but makes it a little more likely you beat control. I don’t think the interaction is an issue, but maybe I’m wrong.

I agree 100% and I'm honestly surprised the card got through balance testing and even more surprised that they didn't change it more.
I think there's a very good chance the card will get nerfed again. Whether it's for the Shudderwock interaction, the insane power level or both.
I have yet to see this happen. Does not seem a reliable way to go infinite with shudder at all.
The card surprised me too, but I hope that if they change it it will be positive
