It seems like the Hearthstone team has decided they’re a lot more comfortable with printing really specific hate cards this set which I think is fine. It’s good for new players to feel like they can do something in response to something they feel they’re losing to, even if it isn’t necessarily right.
WHY +4/+4?! +1/+1 and Rush would already be really good, now if you curve this against a turn 3 dragon like the paladin explorer you just win, garbage design, or rather, balance
I don't often say a card is overpowered, but at first glance this one seems ridiculous. Its effect is way too powerful for its cost. I won't say it will shut down dragons but it could make for some early tempo swings when weaker dragons are played. Not to mention you can have two in your deck or return it to your hand to play again.
dragon killer killer was to be expected. It doesn't kill said dragon, but if your opponent played one you can value trad to a minion of your choice. I think its quite playable card in expected dragon meta.
Now I know why it's called Descent of Dragons! It's because no one will be playing any because if you put out a 2/3 dragon on turn 3 and get answered with an 8/8 you lose the game!
This card is so abysmally designed that I legitimately feel sorry for the people who pre-ordered not knowing that a card like this would be revealed at the very end of the card reveal process. I don't think I've seen a worse balance decision in this game since Mean Streets of Largerman.

I agree.
This card depresses me. It is way, way too powerful. The excitement of trying dragon decks is going to be seriously muted by an opponent who can answer with this on turn 4 (and again on a later turn.)

Okay, so it's official. Blizzard screwed it up and apparently inverted rare and epics cards rarity.
why does everyone think tech cards should be epics now? do you want to spend 400 dust for a tech card?
4 mana 8/8 is the new meme now
4 mana 12/12 with a rush with Corrupt the Waters.
Must have card in ur deck in dod meta
Skulking Geist, Nerubian Unraveler, Mossy Horror, Big Game Hunter, Gluttonous Ooze, Dirty Rat, Hungry Crab... yeah, you're right.
Yes, he is right... people would rather spend 100 dust to craft a tech card than 400

A damn good card. Will play this in dragon control warrior.
The new giant card looks great.
Chief Inspector, Eater of Secrets, Golakka Crawler, Hecklebot, Mindbreaker, Mind Control Tech, Shieldbreaker, Saboteur.
Picking cherries is fun!

Seems like absolute abysmal design. Got no idea what Blizz was thinking.

Acidic Swamp Ooze is basic, Corrosive Sludge commonBloodsail Corsair is rare, Harrison Jones is legendary.
Flare, Eater of Secrets and Kezan Mystic are all rares.
Hemet Nesingwary is Legendary.

Dazzle and dominate your foes as the Jewelcrafter!
