It's not bad, currently token Druid wouldn't play this but probably will when a lot of the cards for token druid rotates out. It'll mostly still be a filler option though unless there is something better to replace it.
Big body, good cost, taunt and a battlecry which allows for floop or zola tricks. Easily makes it worth a try. It's a strong effect. Even getting it off once is ALMOST like getting an extra 5/5 with Forests Aid.
this might have been interesting if it did something ridiculous like make your Treants permanent 5/5s but this effect that late in the game is honestly so minor that this basically just seems like an Ancient of War with an orange gem. “For the rest of the game, your Treants are 5/5 Ancients.” would have been a cool callback to Treespeaker.
Getting two waves of five times 5-5's for 8 mana from Forest Aid would obviously completely break the game. -_-
As it is its actually balanced, but rather bad if you cant curve into FA. So that means Druid needs more Treant support for this buff to reliably work, but there are still 3 Druid class cards coming so not all hope is lost.
This is Goru the Mighttree. It also won’t buff the 5/5 Ancients you get from Treespeaker or any other minion that looks like a treant but doesn’t have Treant in the name.

casual 8 mana 25/25 lol. That would make treants good lmao.

I doubt they're getting more treant support than what's already been shown, but maybe. Summoning 3/3 tokens from a lot of the treant summoning effects is already pretty powerful. This doesn't just curve into Forest's Aid, but also Whispering Woods into Soul of the Forest.
This card should have been printed back when they started making treant synergy a thing. Also, Ancient of War is now crying in a corner alongside Silverback Patriarch.
This is the only bad legendary along with the legendarys Shaman Treant tokens are used in aggro decks, this is very slow but goes well in curve with the card that summon 5 treants of cost 8
How are people voting only "playable" for this? It's an ancient of war without the vulnerability to silence. The effect's just a bonus, but could be useful, for making the 2/2 a 3/3 for example.

dont forget your brann bronzebeard and floop

"the rest of the game" actually happened way before this can see the field
Not really. Druid's big bursty boards happens after turn 7 and Forrests Aid is 8 mana, making for a nice curve.

7 mana token druid buff??? No thanks
No, Treants are cards with Treant in the name.

I can only see this working in a treant based quest druid deck. And even then, I don’t see it working very well
a better ancient of war with a permanent effect is good, but treants arent.
Even with the 8 twinspell being a follow-up Im not sure if 3/3s are good enough in the late game beyond playing catch up
really good in wild however with poison seeds and brann.
Even board clears not so even anymore
Just make sure you've hit your Soul of the Forest on a wide board by turn 7. Then hope to draw into this.

“Side? I am on nobody's side, because nobody is on my side . . ." (Not a lot of treant Druid fans out there.)
Edit: Orc downvoted me.

If it gets +1 / +1 on itself aswell that would be a powerhouse wouldn‘t it for 7 Mana :o
Nice addition to token druid

Как и думал, на практике карта херня.
