It's obviously a different class, but this is just hunter's version with a way worse secondary. Should've been Divine Shield instead of lifesteal no question.
Great to see Lifesteal instead of Divine Shield as paladins need to get health back after losing tempo by playing Dragon Speaker. Great card but the 3 drop space is quite crowded, hopefully we will see a great 4-drop Dragon.
you remember Netherspite Historian? it was one of the key card of infamous dragon priest.
paladin version has no requirement and gives free life-steal on top of that (and being a dragon by itself). If there is dragon paly, this card should be in the deck
I'm glad they made it a cheap dragon so it can work better with Talritha, this should be staple in dragon paladin although you would also want to run 2 bronze heralds as they are great handbuff support so the 3-drop slots seem quite contested.
The only issue i have is that the card art doesn't exactly portray the "lifesteal" well, it looks way too cute and cartoony. I have the same issue with the new alexstrasza, the artwork on the original card is amazing but with the new artwork she just looks like a pet.

I know were your coming from, but if this Dragon had Divine Shield, one Dragon Speaker hit easily could make it a 3 mana 5/6 with Divine Shield. Now that is a threat to die for.
This is insane, back in the day every dragon deck ran a 1/3 that discovered a dragon if u had a dragon in your hand. I don’t see how people are not rating this meta defining
It's a little weird how similar this is to the Hunter discover dragon. It makes sense that it isn't as strong however since Paladin already has more dragon support and so its less of a stretch to make it work than it would be to make a Dragon Hunter work.

I was wondering whether itd be lifesteal or divine shield. I think Dragodin with 4 healing dragon bodies can be a threat. But will fat stats be enough?
So why on Earth is paladin, who already had strong dragon support before the expansion, getting two class dragons, besides the legendary one (not to mention the other class legendary who strongly supports dragon sinergy), while others are not (well at least neither Hunter nor rogue)!!! Isn't it supposed to be dragon-time for everyone?!?
Good albeit boring card. Lifesteal isn't very useful in the early game, but card generation ontop of a decent body means this will probably see play. It being a dragon is also a nice bonus to enable hand synergies.
2/3 and lifesteal for 3 is not bad. Having the Dragon Tag and being an enabler for other dragon cards and discovering a dragon in an expansion introducing tons of strong dragons is damn good. This card is quite solid. It is of course predicated on whether or not a dragon paladin will be any good.
This can be used in any deck, not only dragon ones, lifesteal is a must kill for aggro decks and you always get something decent, if you have the coin even the classic 4/1 dragon is a solid next turn play.

I would rate somehing "meta-defining" if I have strong reason to believe that a card will define the meta, i.e. being a crucial part of a deck that will be strong and popular enough to force other decks to react to it. This, at the very most, is a card that might be included in a deck of such quality, but it won't be crucial, and might get replaced eventually.
Anyway, times have changed. Since the update for Discover, Netherspite Historian is significantly weaker. It was a fantastic card in Priest when you had a near guaranteed chance to discover another Duskbreaker or Drakonid Operative, which were insanely strong. It's still ok now, but far less reliable.
This card has a similar problem. If you could realiably discover another Paladin dragon (like itself), it would be much better, but that won't occur nearly as often anymore. And while a 2/3 with Lifesteal is fair for 3 mana, it isn't huge.

Hmm was anyone else expecting Divine Shield instead of Lifesteal? Great body over all!
Just a bit boring.

is this a winner of "cute art" contest ?

This one costs 1.5 times more mana.
But it has better stats and life steal

Boring design but none of these activators have been very interesting, the key thing here is its small discover which allows for chain summoning.
Which makes it better than it looks.
His head is like half of his entire body. I get that disproportionate-eyes + disproportionate-head = cute but this is way too much.
