Won't see play. You need to be a dragon hunter to gain max value from it. Hunter has 2 class dragons and 0 neutral dragons that fit into what hunter wants to do.
I think this weapon can be bonkers, there is just the slight issue of Hunters having little sustain and Galakrond warrior threatening the meta with 3 damage a turn. It is also worth noting that this is probably a more midrange/control card, as only a few dragons come down early enough to go infinite face with Stormhammer.
This card is a shaman weapon by a mile but for some reason is a... hunter card? It’s good but, weird... Blizzard is so original with shaman that anything with lightning in his text box, name or art is instantly a shaman card. Anyway, I like this card but flavour-wise is a complete failure.
What the hell.... HUNTERS DON’T USE HAMMERS. Only Paladins and Shamans do, and Hunters can in NO WAY CONTROL THE ELEMENTS, especially LIGHTNING. This should be a SHAMAN card, period. I’m so pissed off about this.... uggggghhhh.
What a weird card. I could maybe see this card being used if there are enough dragons that suit a more aggressive gameplan. It's just that the 3-drop slot in hunter is already crowded enough as it is.
This has a chance to be an auto include in every hunter deck... IF there proves to be a dragon package to put into hunter. If not, then this is just a bad to good card. Maybe try a Dragon Highlander deck?

And then you woke up and realized you were playing Hearthstone, not WoW.
I mean, if heroes can dual class in HS, it's safe to assume all bets are off.
(But yeah, dollars to donuts this was originally designed as a Shaman weapon and then got moved because it's mechanically more like a Hunter card.)

Giving specific classes, including hunters, a reliable way to deal 5 damage per turn in the midgame distorts the meta to really fast decks and really controlling decks (remember Pirate Warrior). Stop it

Would've been kinda broken with any toher class able to play dragon decks. I don't think dragon hunter decks will ever be good.

That's a Hunter weapon, all right. Rolling "need".

Why the hell this is a hunter weapon for god's sake.
I find it difficult to imagine that you'd ever play a dragon hunter that wasn't Highlander.
Is a dragon package better than the secret one? I suppose it's possible if there are some more neutral dragons released.
But, right now, it doesn't seem like you'd want to play dragons and stormhammer over secrets and Eaglehorn Bow.
I don't usually care about lore accuracy, but this card absolutely triggers me.
Oof, stop cramming the damn hunter 3 mana slot. It's full.
You would expect this to be a Shaman weapon but it does fill a role for Eaglethorn Bow. So I guess it's pretty good in non-secret midrange decks.

Can’t wait to see what other class mix-ups they plan.
Warlock Spell: Gain 5 Armor and give your minions Divine Shield?
This card is pretty strong. Don't care abt the flavour. Sry.

Huh, Shaman weapon would make sense. I mean, even Paladin. But Hunter hammer, what? ... Blizz please.
hb Faerie Dragon?
