Its the budget replacement for legendaries new players needed. It has very clear weaknesses and I wont use it at all, but i know a lot of people will be happy to put this on their deck while they build their collection.
It's not Tirion, or Ragnaros, thats true, and compared to them, this card deserves to die in a fire. BUT it has a white gem, meaning it costs 40 dust instead of 1600, so for those on a budget, this card will be great!
7/7 for 8 would be bad value(see War Golem), but dat Divine Shield makes things much more interesting. Like, he kills Tirion and survives. BGH is an obvious weakness, but it's going to make for a good enough budget replacement of some Legendaries.
Probably not a top pick in Arena, but it's going to be just a bit behind an Ogre. Drop this and watch people freak out.
This guy knows his meta. BGH reckts this card like a boss. Since everyone knows, BGH is the best card in the game, we also know that this card is bad cause of BGH. BGH is love. BGH is life.
7 attack makes this card a very poor substitute for the 8-mana slot which would otherwise be filled with Legendaries like Rag... I know it's a common and costs only 40 dust but still...
It is terrible help for new players, if he was 8/6 then yes, cheap "counter" to Ragnaros.
It isn't terrible, it should suffice in some decks from Ranks 20 because newer players don't know how to save removal and might have a hard time dealing with a 7/7 divine shield minion in the late game.

Tirion with no weapon deathrattle. Great.

OMG Arena pick.
Blizzard apparently just wants to see 4,000/4,000 Blood Knight so bad it's wetting it's pants.
Shame it doesn't have 8 attack so it could punch out Rag. Going to be a fun pick in a casual divine shield deck as a big guy late game.
Well, it's...an option for new players to have a control deck.....HAHAH
no not really. Meh overall due to the sheer cost.
One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Love the flavor.
A friggin tank with divine shield is pretty awesome.
Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is a nightmare.
Wellll a lot of the great 8 legends are battlecry ones, which don't work here. If it gets a giant, it's basically a heal.

I wish this existed when I first started hearthstone. Worthless to me now. Seems like it has decent value in arena though.
Try out my Resurrect Priest deck!

guess they better stock on spare pants, the most they'll ever see is 42/42 Blood Knight with just the battlecry.

This is the poor man's 8 drop. It is pretty scary, but not nearly as scary as any other 8 drop.

this is blizzards way of helping out the new players that cant afford to buy packs. really cheap end game card to get you started
Interesting. Very first minion with vanilla stats wins a straight up fight (attack into it) with Tirion.
Pretty strong in arena but I doubt there's any room for it in constructed play.
Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.

I refuse to come up with a creative signature.
This is an OK arena card, and a poor man's solution in constructed
As someone noted, it would have been better if he were 8/6, he could have traded with legendaries like Rag and KT.
